    peer reviewedThe article presents the Form@sup postgraduate degree, a one year training (60 ECTS) organized at the University of Liège, Belgium. The training aims at helping colleagues modify their practice, through a revisiting of the courses they have in charge. They perform a reflection-intervention inspired by the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning movement. Form@sup is described in its objectives, its tools, its principles, its models and methods. We then propose some participants’ comments before ending with a brief presentation of the changes that will be introduced in the next few years.L'article présente le dispositif Form@sup, une formation postmaîtrise d'une année (60 ECTS) organisée à l'Université de Liège (Belgique). Cette formation vise à aider les collègues de l'enseignement supérieur à modifier leur pratique, au travers du cours dont ils ont la charge. Ils y mènent une réflexion-intervention inspirée du courant de professionnalisation de l'enseignement et de l'apprentissage. Form@sup est décrit dans ses objectifs, ses outils, ses principes, modèles et méthodes. Nous proposons ensuite quelques commentaires de participants avant de présenter brièvement les changements qui seront introduits ces prochaines années

    Effects of the CDK-inhibitor CYC202 on p38 MAPK, ERK1/2 and c-Myc activities in papillomavirus type 16 E6- and E7-transformed human keratinocytes

    In the present study, we have investigated the effect of the chemical CDK-inhibitor CYC202 on E6 and E7-transformed keratinocytes, in which the function of the cellular cell cycle inhibitor p21Cip1 is abrogated by the viral genes. The cyto-toxicity and the inhibition of the cell growth were analysed by MTT assay and analysis of DNA synthesis respectively. The effect on some signalling molecules was tested by Western blot analysis. CYC202 effectively inhibited the proliferation of E6 and E7 keratinocytes in a dose-dependent manner. Treatment with CYC202 strongly increased the activity of p38 MAP kinase. Furthermore, it inhibited ERK1/2 at the highest concentration used and had no effect on the activity of JNK1/2. CYC202 also increased the phosphorylation of HSP27 and decreased the phosphorylation and DNA-binding activity of the transcriptional regulator c-Myc, in correlation with the corresponding upstream kinases p38 MAPK and ERK1/2. Our results provide additional data for the anti-proliferative actions and potency of the chemical CDK-inhibitor CYC202

    The 8 Learning Events Model: a Pedagogic Conceptual Tool Supporting Diversification of Learning Methods

    This paper presents the 8 Learning Events Model (8LEM), a pedagogical reference framework which was used, in more than 100 online course, as a starting point for instructional planning. Besides supporting teachers in early stages of the learning design continuum, the paper shows how this learning/teaching model, as a professional development tool, prompts them to diversify the learning methods experienced by students in their courses. A two-pronged rationale about the importance of this diversification with respect to "mathetic" competence development and epistemology is also proposed to discussion.
