D=10 super-D9-brane

Superfield equations of motion for D=10 type IIB Dirichlet super-9-brane are obtained from the generalized action principle. The geometric equations containing fermionic superembedding equations and constraints on the generalized field strength of Abelian gauge field are separated from the proper dynamical equations and are found to contain these dynamical equations among their consequences. The set of superfield equations thus obtained involves a Spin(1,9) group valued superfield h_\a^{~\b} whose leading component appears in the recently obtained simplified expression for the kappa-symmetry projector of the D9-brane. The Cayley image of this superfield coincides (on the mass shell) with the field strength tensor of the world volume gauge field characteristic for the Dirichlet brane. The superfield description of the super-9-brane obtained in this manner is known to be, on the one hand, the nonlinear (Born-Infeld) generalization of supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory and, on the other hand, the theory of partial spontaneous breaking of D=10, N=IIB supersymmetry down to D=10, N=1.Comment: 34 pages, LATEX. Idéologie, théorie et altérité : l’enjeu éthique de la critique littéraire

Dans la première partie de son article, l'auteur s'interroge sur le rôle de l'éthique entre l'engagement idéologique (politique) et la réflexion théorique du discours scientifique. Il conclut, dans un premier temps, que l'éthique théorique résulte d'un équilibre précaire entre l'engagement idéologique et la réflexion autocritique du théoricien. Dans la seconde partie, il montre que, dans le marxisme hégélien et dans la déconstruction littéraire, cet équilibre n'est guère réalisé, dans la mesure où les marxistes et les déconstructivistes tendent à négliger l'altérité de leurs objets en les assimilant à leurs discours, donc à leurs idéologies. Enfin, dans la dernière partie, une théorie dialogique de la littérature est proposée qui respecte l'altérité de ses objets.In the first part of his article, the author inquires into the role of ethics in a scientific discourse oscillating between ideological " engagement " and theoretical reflection. He starts with the hypothesis that theoretical ethics are the result of a fragile equilibrium between ideological " engagement " and theoretical, i.e. self-critical reflection. He shows in the second part that in both Hegelian Marxism and literary deconstruction this equilibrium is lost, because Marxists and deconstructivists tend to neglect the alterity of their objects by assimilating them to their discourses, thus sacrificing the object's autonomy to their ideological zeal. In the last part, a dialogical theory of literature is mapped out which respects the alterity of its objects

Massive Superparticle with Tensorial Central Charges

We construct the manifestly Lorenz-invariant formulation of the N=1 D=4 massive superparticle with tensorial central charges. The model contains a real parameter k and at $k\ne 0$ possesses one $\kappa$-symmetry while at k=0 the number of $\kappa$-symmetry is two. The equivalence of the formulations at all $k\ne 0$ is obtained. The local transformations of $\kappa$-symmetry are written out. It is considered the using of index spinor for construction of the tensorial central charges. Lexistentialisme entre nature et culture : Camus contre Sartre

On parle souvent de lexistentialisme comme si cétait un mouvement homogène ou un groupe dintellectuels sympathisant avec la Gauche ou le Front Populaire, etc. Bien quune telle conception de lexistentialisme ne soit pas tout à fait fausse, elle est superficielle dans la mesure où elle tend à oblitérer les différences politiques, philosophiques et esthétiques qui séparent les existentialistes les un des autres. Nous savons tous, par exemple, quil est impossible didentifier les positions politiques de Sartre et Simone de Beauvoir à lexistentialisme allemand de Heidegger et Jaspers (qui est lui-même hétérogène). Il me semble aussi difficile de situer sur le même plan politique ou esthétique les œuvres de Jean-Paul Sartre et Gabriel Marcel étant donné que le jeune Srtre a été influencé par la phénoménologie et lontologie allemandes (Husserl, Heidegger), tandis que Gabriel Marcel considere Bergson comme son point de repère le plus important – malgrè sa critique de la philosophie bergsonienne -, pour ne pas parler de lorientation matérialiste de Sartre et de lengagement chrétien de Marcel
