Region Foreign Economic Relations as a Factor of Reindustiralization

At present, the strengthening vector of the developing economies, in particular, of the countries of Eurasian Economic Union and BRICS, in the geographic structure of Russian foreign economic activity is observed. The subject matter of the article is to see, how the development of this direction can be economically favorable. For this purpose, the forms and degree of the development of economic partnership including collaboration with the Russian regions are investigated. The agreements on the economic partnership with the regions of partner countries of Russia, their production relations are considered. The analysis of foreign trade shows that in the case of the partner countries within Eurasian integration and the BRICS group — Russian economy gets the high possibility to become the supplier of products of relatively high degree of processing which is the key factor of development of its processing industry, i.e. the factor of reindustrialization and export-oriented import substitution. The article has been prepared within the project of fundamental research of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (20152017) No. 15-14-7-13 “Scenario approaches to realization of Ural vector of management and development of the Russian Arctic in terms of world instability”

Time-delayed feedback control of coherence resonance near subcritical Hopf bifurcation: theory versus experiment

    Get PDF
Using the model of a generalized Van der Pol oscillator in the regime of subcritical Hopf bifurcation we investigate the influence of time delay on noise-induced oscillations. It is shown that for appropriate choices of time delay either suppression or enhancement of coherence resonance can de achieved. Analytical calculations are combined with numerical simulations and experiments on an electronic circuit

The article reveals the modalities of mass-media’s influence on public consciousness. The correlation of political, public and media agendas has also been investigated. For the first time the investigation has been made with consideration for a region, by the example of the Belgorod Regio

Synthesis of Boron Carbide from Boric Acid and Carbon-Containing Precursors

    Get PDF
The paper compares low-temperature techniques for boron carbide synthesis. Boron carbide was syn-thesized via reaction between boric acid and various carbon precursors, e.g. phenol-formaldehyde resin, su-crose, carbon black, and potato starch. Initial compositions and carbon precursor preparation techniques were selected for synthesis. The resulting products were characterized by IR spectrometry, X-ray diffrac-tion (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy. Possible boron carbide yields up to 95 % of the theoretical yield as calculated from initial boron contents at temperatures of 1550 oС were demonstrated. XRD con-firmed that the synthesized boron carbide (B4C) has a rhombohedral crystalline structure. Final product morphology may be tailored, ranging from isometric to needle-like crystallite morphology. Nanopowders as processed via high-energy milling may be further used as sintering additive for processing of boron carbide ceramics. The historical path of powerlifting development from origination in the world and the USSR up to the present, it’s becoming as official kind of sport of the international format in the territory of the Russian Federation are presented in the article. The chronology of the first official powerlifting tournaments and competitions as well as the features of the 20th century competitions program development are described in details. Names and achievements of the Russian athletes who glorified domestic powerlifting all over the world and also practicians and sports theorists ̶ founders of scientific and methodical bases of powerlifting in Russia are presented.

Production of nanopowders of oxides by means of fiber and pulse-periodical CO2 lasers

The results of investigation of YSZ, Nd:Y2O3, Al2O3 nanopowder production by laser evaporation of oxide targets in a gas current are reported in present paper. For this purpose we used the pulse-periodical CO2 laser and the continuous fiber ytterbium laser with 550 W and 600 W radiation mean power accordingly. The powders obtained by these lasers, consisted of weakly agglomerated spherical nanopartices (≥ 99 wt%), and ≤ 1 wt% of micron sized particles (drops and target fragments). Nanoparticles from various oxides produced by CO2 laser in atmospheric pressure air had close average sizes (10ч16 nm). The productivity of nanopowder synthesis by CO2 laser from YSZ 1%Nd:Y2O3, 1%Nd:Y2O3, Al2O3, and CeGdO was 23 g/hour, 29 g/hour, 24 g/hour and 80 g/hour, respectively. Unlike CO2 laser the deep melting mode is realized during evaporation of 1%Nd:Y2O3 and Al2O3 targets by fiber laser. The crater depth increases up to 300-1000 μm in this mode. As a result, the target surface became very irregular and productivity of nanopowder synthesis was less, than in the case of CO2 laser. To reduce the effect of deep melting the evaporation of a target has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. As a result of our investigations we have obtained 1%Nd:Y2O3 nanopowder with specific surface of 70 m2/g and productivity of 23 g/hour at air pressure 70 kPa. © 2013 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. VISUAL AND COGNITIVE INTERPRETATION OF HETEROGENEOUS DATA

    Get PDF
The paper identifies conditions that allow the use of visualization means as tools for practical study of heterogeneous data. Effectiveness requirements, the amount of input data or uncertainty of the overall goal of data analysis should be considered complicating factors for such a study. Development and practical application of visualization tools allow to overcome these factors as a result of using the advantages of visual perception for the source data interpretation. Use of cognitive maps has been proposed as a way to compensate for the subjective aspects of visual perception, as well as a tool for verifying the results of visual analysis. Combined use of visualization tools and cognitive maps forms cognitive interpretation technology, which allows solving the problems of research of empirical data belonging to specialized subject areas. An example application of this technology for processing biomedical data is considered
