    Thermally unstable (3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-en-2-yl)lithium was generated by lithiation of 2-bromo-3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-ene and successively underwent borylation in a flow microreactor system.     A method for direct synthesis of tetrasubstituted fluoroarenes via nickel-catalyzed [2+2+2] cycloaddition is presented. The reaction combines one molecule of 1,1-difluoroethylene with two molecules of alkynes and involves sequential cleavage of the C[BOND]F and C[BOND]H bonds in difluoroethylene.
