© 2016, Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht. The relevance of the present study is due to the importance of developing creativity which is considered to be the target and the result of education. Modern society demands from individuals non-standard actions and approaches, flexibility, an ability to formulate new ideas and original ways of thinking when solving urgent problems in the course of life. Facilitating the formation of a personality with a strong intellectual potential capable of creative thinking is set as one of the priorities in the federal and regional documents that determine the direction of educational institutions’ development. The generalized cognitive ability to create and solve tasks is the specific feature of intelligence. The tasks are used in the educational process as a means of presentation, consolidation and acquisition of new knowledge. Thus, the aim of our research is to explore whether using the system of open type tasks can be an effective way of improving the level of creativity development in secondary school students. The main methods in this experiment are modeling the system of open type tasks and the system analysis of large samples of experimental data based on assessment according to a two-point scale of four parameters: the optimality of ideas suggested by students, the efficiency of students’ reasoning, the originality of their answers and the degree of the investigation of solutions. Our experimental research made it possible to design new methods of developing creativity in secondary school students

© 2017 Authors. The purpose of the study is to reveal a method that will help arrange creative mathematical problems for the development of creative competences of the basic school students. The main method here is modeling of creative mathematical problems taking into account the complexity levels of the tasks in accordance with the systemic scale and the requirements for the formulation of creative tasks in basic school. The article presents author's approaches to the differentiation of creative mathematical tasks for basic school students in accordance with the systemic scale, which were formed by adaptation of creative problem solutions classified in terms of their degree of difficulty and the quality of the obtained results, considered in the theory of inventive problems solving. The author proposes a system of requirements for the creative mathematical problem such as the contradiction in the condition of the problem, the sufficiency of the condition, the rectitude of the question, the independence of facts, the completeness of information, and scientific consistency. The system of requirements allows to preserve the didactic value of the proposed mathematical problem. As a result of experimental research and experiential teaching using creative mathematical tasks, the proposed differentiation and the system of requirements for the condition were successfully tested. That contributes greatly to the development of creative competencies of students in the basic school and their ability to solve creative math problems. Practical use of creative mathematical problems makes it possible to increase schoolchildren's interest to study mathematics and show interdisciplinary connections with various disciplines, e.g., informatics, chemistry, biology

The model of realization of the main professional educational curricular for training middle level specialists

© Author(s).The relevance of the study is stipulated by the lack of applied technology of basic professional training program for middle level specialists for mastering Federal State Educational Standards, highlighting the integrated result of the development of the educational curricular (general and professional competences, knowledge, skills, experience). Thus, the aim of the research is to develop an effective training model for the new professional educational standards. The leading methods of the research are based on the formation and development of interconnected areas: professional individualization in the complex of special knowledge, skills and abilities; professional socialization in the formation of new mental structures and development of formed qualities in practice. The results of the experimental research implemented in Vyatka Culture College in 2011-2015 were the full course of training for 100 students with the major “Art and Culture”. The proposed model connects learning outcomes with the formed-governmental graduate competencies, allowing to carry out professional activities

Separation of ferromagnetic components by analyzing the hysteresis loops of remanent magnetization

    Get PDF
© 2015, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. The new method is suggested for separating ferromagnetic components in sediments through analyzing the coercivity spectra of the samples by the continuous wavelet transform with the Gaussian-based wavelet (MHAT). A total of 1056 samples of Lake Khuvsgul’s sediments (Mongolia) are studied. At least four groups of magnetic components are identified based on the analysis of their magnetization and remagnetization curves. Almost all samples are found to contain two components of bacterial origin which are represented by the assemblages of the interacting single-domain grains and differ by the grain compositions (magnetite and greigite). The applicability of the magnetic data for diagnosing magnetotactic bacteria in sediments and building paleoecological and paleoclimatic reconstructions is demonstrated

Change in Magnetic Properties of Reservoir Rocks During In-Situ Combustion of Crude

    Get PDF
© 2015 Springer Science+Business Media New York The pattern of degree of change in rock magnetization on heating is shown, based on thermomagnetic and thermal analysis of rock samples from Permian asphalt deposits. When core samples are heated, the degree of magnetization may increase significantly due to conversion of iron-bearing minerals essentially to magnetite. In the kinetics of magnetite formation in rocks, the main players are oxidation of light and heavy hydrocarbons, which determine both temperature and redox conditions. The feasibility of using ground magnetic mapping for monitoring the state of the in-situ combustion front is assessed

Synthesis of thin titania coatings onto the inner surface of quartz tubes and their photoactivity in decomposition of methylene blue and rhodamine B

    Get PDF
An evaporation-deposition coating method for coating the inner surface of long (>1 m) quartz tubes of small diameter has been studied by the introduction of two-phase (gas-liquid) flow with the gas core flowing in the middle and a thin liquid film of synthesis sol flowing near the hot tube wall. The operational window for the deposition of continuous titania coatings has been obtained. The temperature range for the deposition of continuous titania coatings is limited to 105–120 °C and the gas flow rate is limited to the range of 0.4–1.0 L min−1. The liquid flow rate in the annular flow regime allows to control the coating thickness between 3 and 10 micron and the coating porosity between 10% and 20%. By increasing the liquid flow rate, the coating porosity can be substantially reduced. The coatings were characterized by X-ray diffraction, N2 chemisorption, thermogravimetric analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. The coatings were tested in the photocatalytic decomposition of methylene blue and rhodamine B under UV-light and their activity was similar to that of a commercial P25 titania catalyst
