    Pengaruh Skill Argumentasi Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Terhadap Literasi Sains Siswa

    Efforts to develop scientific literacy of student is done by applying learning invites students to learn science by confirm-ing something by reason, facts, and consideration of the arguments. This learn-ing process invites students to hone their skills so that the argument that science is able to solve the problems exiting in the environment. This study aims: (1) to describe the influence of argumentation skills to science literacy, and (2) knowing increase science literacy students by using argumentation skills. The result show that: (1) there is a positive linear effect and significant correlation between ar-gumentation skills against science literacy; (2) a significant increase scientific lit-eracy of student by using argumentation skills.Proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung di sekolah saat ini kurang memperhatikan literasi sains siswa. Upaya pengembangan literasi sains siswa dilakukan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran yang mengajak siswa untuk belajar sains dengan membenarkan sesuatu berdasarkan alasan, fakta, dan pertimbangan argumen. Proses pembelajaran ini mengajak siswa untuk mengasah skill argumentasinya sehingga mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan sains yang ada di lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan pengaruh skill argumentasii terhadap literasi sains siswa, dan (2) mengetahui peningkatan literasi sains siswa dengan menggunakan skill argumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara skill argumentasii terhadap literasi sains siswa; (2) terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dari literasi sains siswa menggunakan skill argumentasi

    Perbandingan Hasil Belajar Fisika Melalui Metode Eksperimen Inkuiri Dengan Verifikasi Berbasis Keterampilan Proses Sains

    Science process skills are one of important factor in improving students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the average difference in learning outcomes of cognitive and psychomotor aspects of the students in learning physics on the use of approach with inquiry experimental method and verification experiment. The learning outcomes of cognitive aspects were measured by pretest and posttest results, while for the psychomotor aspects were measured by the achievement of the skill aspects. The technique used in data analysis was N-gain while the hypothesis testing used Independent Sample t-Test. Based on the average scores of N-gain average, cognitive aspects of student learning outcomes in the first experimental class was 0.52 and the second experimental class was 0.33. These results indicate that the science process skill approach with experimental inquiry method is more effective to be applied to improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of learning. In the psychomotor aspect, the average value of inquiry experimental class was 73.77 and 70.03 for verification experiment. Furthermore, there is no difference in the average results of the psychomotor aspects of student learning through inquiry and verification experimental method based on science process skill

    Observations and interviews show that in Xaverius Pringsewu High School have the facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process, but its are not used optimally. Added with the problems that appear on the material electricity dynamic, the percentage of students who did not complete the material electricity dynamic at class X in 2011/2012 which is up to 91.6%. Based on the state of media researchers to develop interactive multimedia based tutorial material on high school physics electricity dynamic. This research uses research and development which refers to the procedure of learning instructional media development by Sadiman which includes seven procedures, namely: analysis of the needs and characteristics of students, formulate learning objectives, formulate particle of materials, prepare an evaluation instrument, prepare the manuscript or draft media, perform validation expert, trial or test and revision. Expert validation test results indicate that the media has been developed in accordance with theory and fit for use as a medium of learning. Field test results show that developed media tutorial is very interesting, very easy to use and useful, and effective use as a medium of learning electricity dynamic

    LKS (student worksheet) outstanding in school less attention to aspects of the effectiveness and attractiveness. Therefore, in an effort to meet the needs of students to learn physics with effective and fun, then developed a model of inquiry guided LKS material optical instruments. The purpose of this research is to produce worksheets aimed at learning media to students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Way Lima that can be used when teaching in the classroom. The development research using research methods adapted from the model Sugiyono. This model consists of the potential and problems, data collection resources, product design, design validation, design revisions, product testing, design revisions, utility testing, and product revision. Based on the development of research, the results after using the product of cognitive learning outcomes worksheets can help students complete the development of cognitive learning objectives in Optical Materials Tools.LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) yang beredar di sekolah kurang memperhatikan aspek keefektifan dan kemenarikan. Oleh karena itu, sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa untuk belajar fisika dengan efektif dan menyenangkan, maka dikembangkan LKS model inkuiri terbimbing materi alat-alat optik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran LKS yang ditujukan kepada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Way Lima yang dapat di-gunakan saat pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang diadaptasi dari model Sugiyono. Model ini terdiri dari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data sumber daya, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi desain, uji coba pemakaian, dan revisi produk. Berdasarkan penelitian pengembangan ini, hasil belajar kognitif produk setelah menggunakan LKS hasil pengembangan dapat membantu siswa menuntaskan tujuan pembelajaran kognitif pada Materi Alat-alat Optik

    The purpose of this research is to analyze and find (1) the differences of academic achievement based on laboratory techniques, (2) the performance of academic achievement based on entry behavior, (3) the interaction between the practice and entry behavior on student achievement. The study was conducted in junior high school SMP Ma’arif 12 Terbanggi Besar, Lampung Tengah.Data collecting technique used observation technique and questionnaires, also all data being analyzed factorial design. The results showed that (1) there was difference in academic achievement of sciences based on practice technique because value sig,000 0,05 so Ho received.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menemukan (1) perbedaan prestasi belajar yang disebabkan perbedaan teknik praktikum, (2) perbedaan prestasi belajar yang disebabkan perbedaan kemampuan awal (3) interaksi praktikum dan kemampuan awal terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.     Pengaruh Penggunaan Modul Fisika Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Terhadap Minat Dan Hasil Belajar

    This research aimed to know (1) the influence of using physics learning modul based on guided inquiry towards the interest, and (2) the influence of using physics learning modul based on guided inquiry towards the study result on temperature and heat material. This research was carried out using experimental research method with One Group Pre test-Post test Design. The result showed that there was a difference of the students\u27 interest and the students\u27 cognitive study result before and after being taught by using physics learning modul based on guided inquiry. The increasing of interest in learning is shown by the value of N-gain 0.71 (high category) and the study result is shown by the value of N-gain 0.74 (high category).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penggunaan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap minat, dan (2) pengaruh penggunaan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar pada materi suhu dan kalor. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre test- Post test Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan minat siswa dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Peningkatan minat belajar ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,71 (kategori tinggi) dan peningkatan hasil belajar ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,74 (kategori tinggi)

    Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran Menggunakan Learning Content Development System Materi USAha Dan Energi

    This research (LCDS) aimed to produce Learning Module Using Learning Content Development System on energy and work material.This research used research and development (R&D) method with the implementation procedure adopted from research design development of instructional media by suyanto and sartinem that were consisted of seven steps, includes: (1) need assessment; (2) resourches identification; (3) spesification identification; (4) product development; (5)internal test; (6) external test;and (7) production. The results of this research showed that the learning module were attractive, very easy to use, and very useful. It was also effective to be used as a learning media because 82,76% of student reached the passing grade.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan modul pembelajaran menggunakan Learning content development system pada materi USAha dan energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan prosedur pelaksanaan mengacu pada desain penelitian pengembangan media instruksional oleh Suyanto dan Sartinem yang terdiri dari tujuh langkah, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan; (2) identifikasi sumber daya; (3) Identifikasi spesifikasi produk; (4) Pengembangan produk; (5) Uji internal; (6) Uji eksternal;dan (7) Produksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa modul pembelajaran hasil pengembangan memiliki kualitas yang menarik, sangat mudah digunakan, serta sangat bermanfaat menurut pengguna, modul pembelajaran juga dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena 82,76% siswa telah mencapai KKM
