Comment on: Nonlocal Realistic Leggett Models Can be Considered Refuted by the Before-Before Experiment
It is shown here that Suarez [Found. Phys. 38, 583 (2008)] wrongly presents
the assumptions behind the Leggett's inequalities, and their modified form used
by Groeblacher et al. [Nature 446, 871 (2007)] for an experimental
falsification of a certain class of non-local hidden variable models.Comment: comment submitted to Found. Phy

[Review of] Virgil Suarez. Welcome to the Oasis and Other Stories
If one is seeking a text to help expand the multicultural approach in a course on contemporary fiction or literature in general, a new collection of short stories by Virgil Suarez may be a successful addition. Welcome to the Oasis and Other Stories has the virtues of compactness in 124 pages and of variety in the length of the six works included, as well as a reasonable cost. An instructor would have the option of including the entire volume in her syllabus, which would provide an assignment easily encompassed in one or two class meetings. Or she could tuck in any one of the tales, ranging from fifty-four to eight large-print pages, wherever they might fit the design of the course

Implementation of the barotropic vorticity equation on the MPP
A finite difference version of the equations governing two-dimensional, non-divergent flow on a sphere is implemented and integrated on the Massively Parallel Processor (MPP). The MPP's performance is then compared with the Cyber's. The feasibility of using a massively parallel architecture to solve the hydrodynamic equations as they are used in numerical weather prediction (NWP) are described
