Concevoir des objets techniques pour une population normale, c’est-à-dire comprenant aussi des personnes handicapées ou très âgées

Les technologies peuvent être des obstacles redoutables pour les personnes handicapées ou très âgées, ou au contraire apporter des solutions efficaces aux problèmes que rencontrent ces personnes. Ceci concerne les objets ordinaires de la vie courante, mais aussi les aides techniques spécialisées, le logement, le transport public, les postes de travail, etc. Beaucoup de réaménagements spéciaux ou d’aides techniques particulières ne seraient pas nécessaires si la conception initiale des objets ou services destinés au grand public tenait compte de l’existence de personnes handicapées ou très âgées dans la population générale. L’ergonomie peut contribuer à la conception d’objets techniques et de services plus facilement utilisables par des personnes handicapées.Technologies can be formidable obstacles for disabled people or the elderly, or inversely, can also provide effective solutions to the problems that these people encounter. Esta problemática concierne los objetos ordinarios de la vida diaria, pero también las ayudas técnicas especializadas, el espacio habitacional, el transporte público, los puestos de trabajo, etc. Muchas adaptaciones especiales o ayudas técnicas especializadas no serían necesarias si el diseño inicial de los objetos o de los servicios destinados al público masivo tuvieran en cuenta la existencia de personas discapacitadas o de edad avanzada en la población. The ergonomic analysis of work activities, typical of the francophone tradition, may usefully benefit from the organizational analysis that considers the well-being of the subjects of the action processes. According to the theory of organizational action, this encounter is possible: the method it proposes allows the integration of biomedical analysis and ergonomic analysis for the purpose of prevention in the workplace. A seminar of the Interdisciplinary Research Program “Organization and Well-being”, with the example of an ergonomic analysis of airline pilots’ activity and an organizational analysis of a work situation in large archives, shows the compatibility and the possible synergies between the two research paths

The Interdisciplinary Research Program “Organization and Well-Being” is aimed at identifying the relationships between the choices that structure the work processes, and the people’s health, defined in terms of physical, mental and social well-being. A method allowing to connect the analysis of organizational choices and the biomedical analysis of their consequences on the involved subjects has been the object of studies and discussions for three decades. This debate includes comments expressed from points of view concerning: ergonomics, work psychodynamics, work sociology, work psychology, ergology, linguistic activity. The way to conceive organization, action research, inter-disciplinarity and multi-disciplinarity, in the various approaches here represented, are the main object of discussion

L'analogie dans l'apprentissage de la programmation

Learning to program does not always end successfully, in particular for the non-scientific faculties of universities. After having taken an analysis of the use of analogies in teaching, we present here a practical experiment of multiple analogies in a programming course for novices. This analogies were conceived in order to give the students a representation of the device. The results of this process are analyzed on the following pages.L'apprentissage de la programmation aboutit parfois à des échecs, particulièrement dans des filières universitaires dites non-scientifiques. Après une analyse du recours aux analogies en apprentissage, nous présentons une expérience d'utilisation d'analogies multiples dans le cadre de l'introduction de la programmation.
