Illocutionary Force in the Novel Darkest Hour by Cleo Virginia Andrews

One aim of this article is to show through concrete examples about how Illocutionary Force used in Novel Darkest Hour By Cleo Virginia Andrews. The research are to describe the six types of illocutionary force in Cleo Virginia Andrews\u27s Darkest Hour to derive the most dominant type of illocutionary force, to explain the meaning of illocutionary force and to analyze the implication of that dominant the six types of illocutionary force to the novel itself. This study applied descriptive qualitative method. They were taken randomly and found 108 the types of illocutionary force; Asserting (21,29 %), Promising (13,89 %), Excomunicating ( 12,04%), Exclaiming in pain (15,74 %), Inquiring (11,11 %), and Ordering (25,92%) occurs in the novel. It was found that the most dominant type of illocutionary force that is used in Cleo Virginia Andrews\u27s Darkest Hour is Ordering for expressing what the speaker wants (25,92%). This implies that the Ordering for expressing what the speaker wants play a great role in the novel. It means that wishes as expression of speaker\u27s desire or wants in order to expect it becomes a reality can be characteristic of the novel in case of applying order to express of Illocutionary Force within utterances

Pengaruh Pemberian Tepung Bangun-Bangun (Coleus Amboinicus. L) Pada Ransum Babi Terhadap Konversi Ransum Induk Menyusui Dan Pertambahan Bobot Badan Anak

This research has been done in the animal husbandry of Cigugur, Kuningan , Jawa Barat November 1st - December 16th, 2010 with intention of knowing the level of Coleus amboinicus. L giving and the effect of Coleus amboinicus. L flour giving towards the weight gain of piglet. Fifteen sows with weight around 125-150 kg each have been allocated into the Complete Random Design three treatment rations and have been repeated five times. The combination of treatment ration consists of R0 (Ration with 0% of Coleus amboinicus. L flour), R1 (ration with 3% of Coleus amboinicus. L flour), R3 (ration with 5% of Coleus amboinicus. L flour). Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the giving of Coleus amboinicus. L flour in the amount of 5% gives effect forwards the weight gain of piglet and the ration conversion

Parasitic Effects Reduction for Wafer-Level Packaging of RF-Mems

In RF-MEMS packaging, next to the protection of movable structures, optimization of package electrical performance plays a very important role. In this work, a wafer-level packaging process has been investigated and optimized in order to minimize electrical parasitic effects. The RF-MEMS package concept used is based on a wafer-level bonding of a capping silicon substrate to an RF-MEMS wafer. The capping silicon substrate resistivity, substrate thickness and the geometry of through-substrate electrical interconnect vias have been optimized using finite-element electromagnetic simulations (Ansoft HFSS). Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan (Bagian Produksi Minyak Kelapa Sawit Pt.mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati Pelalawan Riau)

PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati Pelalawan Riau engaged in the palm oil industry in Pelalawan Riau using raw materials of palm oil after it is produced into crude oil. PT.Mitra Unggul Pusaka have multiple departments. In this case, PT.Mitra Unggul Pusaka especially the oil production, which has 51 employees in 2015.The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the work environment on employee productivity parts of palm oil production PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati Pelalawan Riau. This study uses descriptive quantitative correlation technique in which data were collected through questionnaires to 51 respondents. Then do the simple linear regression analysis of the data obtained.Results of research and hypothesis testing showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the work environment and productivity of employees part of palm oil production in PT. Partners Unggul Pusaka Segati Pelalawan Riau. Through coefficient determination test in this study proves that the work environment affects productivity of employees is influenced by other factors

Estimasi Nilai Ekonomi Air Irigasi Dan Strategi Pemanfaatannya Dalam Penentuan Iuran Irigasi

The study is aimed to valuate irrigation water and to assess its prospect forwater pricing strategy, and implication of optimal cropping pattern on farm\u27s incomeand rice production. Mathematical programming is applied for the valuation. Strategyof water pricing based on the reconciling efficiency and equity concern. Results of thestudy show that shadow price of irrigation water were equal to zero on December–Mayand positive on June–November. Within the positive period, the lowest and highestprices were taken place on June and September respectively. Monthly average of theshadow price was Rp. 40 700/(l/sec), which is equivalent with Rp. 15.75/m3. It isfeasible to apply the shadow price for determining ceiling rate of irrigation watercharges. Potential method of water pricing is combination of per unit area in wet seasonand per crop pricing in dry season. The kind of research is explanatory research with quantitative approach and using multiple linear regression analysis method. This research uses secondary data types taken from 50 Leading Market Capitalization in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2015, with using purposive sampling technique there are 25 company samples. The outcome of this research explain partially that beta has a significant effect on expected return. Beta models can deliver lowest risk and high returns, so this model is appropriate for investors to use

Pengaruh Pemberian Berbagai Dosis Curcuminoid Pada Babi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Konversi Ransum

Research about the effect of ration containing various dosage curcuminoid in pigs rations to growth rate and the ration conversion has been held since December 2005 until March 2006 in KPBI (Koperasi Peternak Babi Indonesia), Kecamatan Cisarua, Kabupaten Bandung. The purpose of this research is to know the Wright dosage of gives curcuminoid as feed additive also effect of curcuminoid as feed additive ration to growth rate and the ration conversion. This research was using 20 starter period pigs, age 2 months with weight rate 18 kg and variation coefficient 6.33%. The method was which used in this research is Complete Randomized Design with four level dosage of curcuminoid i.e, 0, 4, 8 and 12 mg/kg/body weight with five replications. The result of the research shows that giving curcuminoid as feed additive does not give the different effect to the ration conversion, but to growth rate by gives dosage of curcuminoid which 4 mg/kg/body weight effect to increase pigs growth rate. Curcuminoid which gives 4 mg/kg/body weight has give the best effect to growth rate and the ration conversion

Penerapan Metode Dempster Shafer untuk Mendiagnosa Penyakit dari Akibat Bakteri Salmonella

Infeksi dari bakteri Samonella dapat menyerang saluran gastrointestin yang mencakup Perut, usus halus, dan usus besar atau kolon. Beberapa spesies salmonella dapat menyebabkan infeksi melalui makanan. Termasuk ke dalamnya adalah Salmonella Typhi yang mengakibatkan penyakit tifus, dan Salmonella Shigella yang mengakibatkan penyakit disentri dan diare. Masih banyak orang yang belum mengetahui gejala-gejala dari infeksi bakteri ini serta bagaimana cara untuk mendiagnosa dengan nilai kepastian yang tinggi. Untuk dapat mengetahui tingkat kepastian infeksi bakteri ini peneliti menggunakan metode Dempster-Shafer. Metode ini dipilih karena metode ini dianggap mampu untuk memberikan tingkat kepastian yang tinggi. Metode Dempster-Shafer adalah representasi, kombinasi dan propogasi ketidakpastian, dimana teori ini memiliki beberapa karakteristik yang secara instutif sesuai dengan cara berfikir seorang pakar, namun dasar matematika yang kuat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat aplikasi sistem pakar yang dapat mendiagnosa bakteri dari akibat bakteri salmonella dengan menggunakan metode Dempster Shafer.Kata Kunci : Sistem Pakar,Metode Dempster Shafer, Bakteri Salmonella

The communication path that will physically connect the two technologies conceptually works together such as cables. A special feature of a channel that resembles a cable is where the bits will be forwarded in the same order along with the bits sent. Data link layers have specific functions, this function includes starting from providing interfaces for services that are good for the network layer. Communication flows often make mistakes, sometimes having limited data rates and experiencing propagation delays other than zero between when bits are sent when the bit is received. This limitation is an implication of the importance of the efficiency of data transfer. Delivery of information in the telecommunications world will often occur errors in the data to be sent. This error is caused by a disturbance at the physical level, which is a disruption of the transmission line media, such as interference with electromagnetic radiation, cross communication, lightning or noise disturbance. This interference causes the information received does not match the information sent. The Cyclical Redundancy Check method, or CRC, is a method for handling error detection, this method uses binary numbers.
