Archimedes Force on Casimir Apparatus

We address a problem of Casimir apparatus in dense medium and weak gravitational field. The falling of the apparatus has to be governed by the equivalence principle, with proper account for contributions to the weight of the apparatus from its material part and from distorted quantum fields. We discuss general expression for the corresponding force in metric with cylindrical symmetry. By way of example we compute explicit expression for Archimedes force, acting on the Casimir apparatus of finite size, immersed into thermal bath of free scalar field. It is shown that besides universal term, proportional to the volume of the apparatus, there are non-universal quantum corrections, depending on the boundary conditions.Comment: 13 pages, 1 figur

This article presents and grounds (i.e. presents proof of the existence, the truth, the self-consistence and the completeness of)the informational conception ("the Information as Absolute" conception)in physics and philosophy. the conception defines the information as an ultimately common, real and fundamental concept/phenomenon - "Absolute", which exists as anabsolutely infinite set ("Information" Set) of elements (members) and informational (e.g., logical) linksbetween the elements; where any element itself is some informational structure also. Correspondingly, for example, Matter as the substence, radiation, etc., is some development or realization of informational patterns, constituting a specific - and practically infinitesimal comparing to the Set - subset of the "Information" Set. The conception allows for the resolution, or at least for a consideration on a higher level of comprehension, of the basic ontological and epistemological problems in philosophy and natural sciences; in physics it allows to suggest reasonable model, which makes more clear basic phisical notions,such as space, time, matter, etc

The main aspects of correctional work and psychological support for children with disabilities in Ukraine during the war

W artykule omówiono główne aspekty pracy resocjalizacyjnej i psychologicznego wsparcia dzieci niepełnosprawnych w Ukrainie w czasie wojny. Autor zauważa, że inwazja wojsk rosyjskich na Ukrainę na pełną skalę spowodowała poważny kryzys humanitarny w wielu częściach kraju i zmusiła miliony dorosłych i dzieci, w tym niepełnosprawnych, do opuszczenia swoich domów. Wojna w Ukrainie radykalnie zakłóciła życie codzienne, poczucie bezpieczeństwa oraz doprowadziła do stresu i innych problemów, których konsekwencje mogą być niebezpieczne dla przyszłego zdrowia wszystkich dzieci. Autor artykułu opisuje główne kierunki i aspekty pracy specjalistów z dziećmi niepełnosprawnymi, które wyjechały w bezpieczne rejony. Wyszczególnia główne formy pracy i znaczenie zintegrowanego podejścia w rehabilitacji. Artykuł podkreśla wagę i konieczność szkolenia specjalistów ds. rehabilitacji dzieci niepełnosprawnych w czasie wojny oraz opracowania ukierunkowanych wytycznych dla profesjonalistów i rodziców.У статті розглянуто основні аспекти корекційної роботи та психологічної підтримки дітей з інвалідністю в Україні в умовах війни. Автором зазначено, що повномасштабне вторгнення російських військ в Україну викликало велику гуманітарну кризу в багатьох областях країни та змусило мільйони дорослих і дітей, зокрема й з інвалідністю, залишити свої домівки. Війна в Україні докорінно порушила буденне життя, відчуття безпеки і призвела до стресу та інших проблем, наслідки яких можуть бути небезпечними для здорового майбутнього всіх дітей. Автором статті описані основні напрямки та аспекти роботи фахівців з дітьми з інвалідністю, які виїхали на безпечні території. Розкриті основні форми роботи та важливість комплексного підходу в реабілітації. У статті наголошується на важливості та необхідності підготовки фахівців для реабілітації дітей з інвалідністю, які перебувають в умовах війни, розроблення орієнтовано спрямованих методичних рекомендацій для фахівців і батьків.The article examines the main aspects of correctional work and psychological support for children with disabilities in Ukraine during the war. The author states that the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine caused a major humanitarian crisis in many regions of the country and forced millions of adults and children, including those with disabilities, to leave their homes. The war in Ukraine fundamentally disrupted everyday life, the sense of security and led to stress and other problems, the consequences of which can be dangerous for the healthy future of all children. The author of the article describes the main directions and aspects of the work of specialists with children with disabilities who have moved to safe territories. The main forms of work and the importance of an integrated approach in rehabilitation are revealed. The article emphasizes the importance and necessity of training specialists for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities who are in war conditions, the development of targeted methodological recommendations for specialists and parents

Infinite statistics, symmetry breaking and combinatorial hierarchy

The physics of symmetry breaking in theories with strongly interacting quanta obeying infinite (quantum Boltzmann) statistics known as quons is discussed. The picture of Bose/Fermi particles as low energy excitations over nontrivial quon condensate is advocated. Using induced gravity arguments it is demonstrated that the Planck mass in such low energy effective theory can be factorially (in number of degrees of freedom) larger than its true ultraviolet cutoff. Thus, the assumption that statistics of relevant high energy excitations is neither Bose nor Fermi but infinite can remove the hierarchy problem without necessity to introduce any artificially large numbers.
