    Abstrak Berpikir kritis dalam mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Taman Sidoarjo ini masih kurang, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya hasil belajar nilai siswa pada saat ulangan harian yang kurang dari Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan siswa dengan berpikir kritis yang berpengaruh pada meningkatnya nilai hasil belajar siswa perlu diberikan model pembelajaran yang menarik sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa salah satunya dengan diberikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah agar meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS materi Interaksi Sosial kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Taman Sidoarjo. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angka-angka dan analis statistik, untuk mengolah data penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah True Experimental Design dan menggunakan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, dimana ada 2 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Taman Sidoarjo dan subjek penelitiannya siswa kelas VIII. Teknik analis data yang digunakan adalah analisis observasi dan analisis data tes. Hasil penelitian menggunakan Rumus Uji Hipotesis One Way Anova diketahui perhitungan pretest uji hipotesis diperoleh Fhitung= 1,35 pada Ftabel dengan dk pembilang 3-1= 2 dan dk penyebut 96-3= 93, maka harga Ftabel= 3,09, sedangkan hasil perhitungan post-test hipotesis diperoleh Fhitung= 2,2 pada Ftabel dengan dk pembilang 3-1= 2 dan dk penyebut 96-3= 93, maka harga Ftabel= 3,09. Maka dapat disimpulkan dari kedua hasil tes tersebut bahwa sangat jelas adanya pengaruh yang signifikan terhada model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar kelas VIII mata pelajaran IPS materi Interaksi Sosial Subbab Pluralitas Masyarakat Indonesia dan Kebangsaan. Abstract A Critical Thinking in the IPS subject for grade 8th in SMP Negeri 2 Taman Sidoarjo is still decrease, it shows with the studying result of the student in their daily exam. That’s why, to increase the critical thinking of the student who have the affect in the studying result. Need to give the interesting learning model that has appropriated with the necessary and the character of the student. For that reason, the learning model that appropriate with it, is the problem based learning model. The purpose of this research is, to know the affect between the PBL model with the problem solving ability of the student in order to make the studying result be increased in IPS subject, especially in Social Interaction for grade 8th in SMP Negeri 2 Taaman Sidoarjo. The data that used in this research likes an numbers and statistics analyze. This research use the quantitative model to manage the data. The research design that used is, Pretest-posttest Control Group Design, where is, there 2 classes, experimental class and the control class. This research does in SMP Neger 2 Taman Sidoarjo and the subject is the student in grade 8th. The data analyze technique that used is, observation analyze and tes data analyze. The result of research make Uji Hypothesis of One Way Anova revelead that the calculation of the pretest hyothesis test was obtained by Fhitung= 1,35 on the Ftabel with the numerator dk 3-1= 2 and the denominator 96-3= 93, while the results of the post-test hypothesis calculation then the Ftabel price obtained Fhitung= 2,2 dk on the numerator 3-1= 2 and the denominator 96-3= 93, then the price of the Ftabel= 3,09. Then it can be concluded from the two test results that it is very clear that there is a significant influence on the Problem Based Learning model of learning outcomes in class VIII social studies IPS subject matter Social Interaction. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-10 Tahun 2022, Palembang 27 Oktober 2022. pp. 302-308.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Ogan Ilir Regency is one of the lime (Citrus aurantifolia swingle) producing areas in South Sumatera, with farmers who grow lime as a household garden business for their daily life, now turning to the plantation business. However, the lack of attention from the owner in the sustainability of this plantation, so that plantation processing does not get optimal results. This survey activity aimed to determine the management of lime plantations in Palem Raya Village, Tanjung Pering Village, and Seribandung Village. The method used is direct interviews with the perpetrators and the lime garden cultivation. The results of the survey that we conducted in the 3 villages showed that lime plants experienced less than optimal productivity in terms of fruit and stem growth because they were not taken care of by their owners. Lack of care by garden owners such as not cleaning new shoots so that plants absorb nutrients optimally, applying fertilizers are not in accordance with plant needs, and pests that attack limes such as fruit flies, aphids and leafhoppers. The conclusion from this survey is the productivity of the citrus plantations in the 3 villages is less than optimal, where in the three locations the fruit produced is still experiencing a lot of damage because it is not taken care of. The advice we can give is for lime plantation farmers to do more maintenance by clearing the land, giving fertilizers at the right dose and time, and giving pesticides regularly. So that optimal product results are obtained
