The impact of liquidity has been studied on profitability in textile sector in Pakistan. The simple regression has been run in Stata 12 and the results show that CR has positive and significant impact on ROCE and ROE in 2014 but in 2015 the results show that CR has positive but insignificant impact on ROCE and ROE. The policy makers must realize the importance of absolute opposite variations in the results

The mediating effect of working capital is studied on the determinants of capital structure. This study is conducted in Pakistan on the sample of non-financial companies from 2010-2015. The panel regression is applied in three ways: firstly the pooled regression is applied; secondly the fixed effects model and finally the random effects model are applied. The results address that working capital play significant role between the capital structure and its determinants. With the inclusion of working capital as mediator the determinants like size, financial performance, mass and tangibility have become significant determinants of financial leverage

The objective of this study is to examine the Determinants of ROA in the cement industry in Pakistan from 2013-2017. The quantile regression is run at different quantiles in Stata 12. The policy makers of cement industry must realize that the capital structure has negative impact on return on assets. The governance system of any country is required to be stable. This study is the initial attempt to find the indicators of governance in Pakistan. The data has been collected from World Bank from 2002-2016. The correlation test and Structural Equation Modeling are applied to the data. The governance is the construct variable in SEM. The results show that Voice and Accountability, Political Stability and Violence & Terrorism, Government Effectiveness, GDP per Capita Growth, GNI growth. Gender diversity and Human Development are the factors of governance in Pakistan

Now the policymakers can look into the results at different quantiles. The quantile regression has been applied on 0.25 percentile, 0.50 percentile, and 0.75 percentile. The empirical results show that at every quantile the profitability is the significant positive determinant of SED

Magnesium Level in Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients

Abstract: Magnesium plays important roles in physiological function of the body organs because magnesium is an essential mineral. Present study was to determine magnesium levels in serum of fifty pulmonary tuberculosis patients and fifty controls magnesium was determined using a Hitachi atomic absorption spectrophotometer (Tokyo, Japan). Magnesium level was significantly decreased in pulmonary tuberculosis patients as compared with the controls. In order to better understand the role of magnesium in pulmonary tuberculosis further clinical studies are required
