The Parent Child Relationship on New Family Scenario
In the last two decades, the modern family has been going through significant changes in several aspects of its configuration
and structure, requiring a complex and multidisciplinary perspective essential to its understanding. The children
subsystem is not immune to these changes, and the parent-child relationship must be reformulated in the light of these wider
transformations. Today the modern family, therefore, can appear to be deeply different from the traditional one in terms of
structure and roles.
This paper is a reflection on some of the alternatives to the traditional family forms in order to highlight critical and resilience
factors
Twins. Similarities, differences and individuality
This study aims to investigate the self-differentiating perceptions and the separation-individuation’s process in emerging adulthood twins. A group of 40 Italian pairs of twins (21 couples dizygotic-DZ and 19 monozygotic-MZ) aged 20-30 years, were evaluated using the test of graphic projection Family Life Space (DSSVF) and thought a specific questionnaire ad hoc constructed for this research. The research hypothesis focus on Zazzo’s test of parallel testimony and provide to give empirical evidence about the capacity of MZ Twins to use more internal resources of the couple than DZ Twins, causing the split slowdown on identification. The data show that there are no difference between not bisexual MZ and DZ couple. Moreover, there is a less strong reciprocal relation in the sex opposite DZ couple than in the others
Quality of Life and Sexuality among People with Mental and Physical Disabilities in the Italian Context
Aim: The article analyses sexuality and quality of life among people with mental and physical disabilities in the Italian context. It is aimed at contributing to a social debate over the sexual assistant for disabled people, as this professional is not still present in Italy. The aim of this paper is therefore to reflect on the consequences of the negative attitudes towards sexual life in disabled people, as well as for their families and community. In the collective unconscious, people with physical or mental disabilities are considered unable to live a healthy sexuality. This representation contributes to the spread of false attributions and prejudices. These characteristics may also be found inside the familiar context and its parental, educational style that appears so overprotective of the disabled child, in an attempt to relieve him of any social comparisons. Conclusion: The article was aimed at encouraging a social and political debate towards the introduction of a sexual assistant in Italy where, this professional still not has an institutional recognition. Disabled people’s sexual needs and desires cannot longer be ignored. A long pathway should be undertaken to promote their well-being, towards a dynamic process of change aimed at improving the quality of life of disabled people, their family and community as well
Net-zero emissions: main technological, geopolitical, and economic consequences of the new energy scenario
This paper discusses possible technical, economical and geopolitical consequences of the new energy scenario. We analyze the net zero emissions global race with an emphasis on the role renewable energies will play in this phenomenon and COP26’s recent decisions on climate and energy transition. Using the semi-quantitative analysis method, the technological driving forces for future energy scenarios have been extrapolated. The technological developments and future scenarios regarding renewable energies are discussed by comparing two different driving forces. Furthermore, there will be a discussion of possible geopolitical consequences due to fossil fuels trade depletion during the energetic transition. Possible related consequences for MENA countries are investigated. In the last part, there will be a legal background analysis for electricity demand and renewable sources shift combined with techno-economical examples. Finally, considering all the contents, we drive our conclusions
Adolescent Sexual and Emotional Development: The Role of Romantic Relationships
The physiological processes occurring during adolescence, often so abrupt, threaten the permanence of the previously constructed sense of identity, questioning the patterns and representations that had governed the relations of the teenager with his body and with his relational systems. Although puberty is not only reduced to sexual transformations, definitions centered mainly on this aspect can be found in the literature. In fact, pubertal development is the acquisition disclosure index of adult reproductive capacity

Self-differentiation and parenting stress in adolescent mothers. An exploratory study
Introduction: Adolescent motherhood, a phenomenon that has a strong social impact, is explored, focusing particularly on the mother’s psychosocial development, parental role, skill, and parenting-related stress.
Methods: This study aims to analyze the connection between maternal self- differentiation in first-time mothers (aged between 15 and 20 years old) and parenting stress levels, including some moderating variables, such as dyadic adjustment, maternal self-esteem, and perceived social support.
Results: The analyses highlighted the following significant results: emotional cutoff and fusion with others are predictors of parenting stress (β = −0.38, p < 0.05, and β = 0.36, p = 0.05, respectively); emotional cutoff is also found to be a significant predictor of parent–child dysfunctional interaction (β = −0.42, p < 0.05), while fusion with others predicts a mother’s perception of her child as difficult (β = 0.39, p < 0.05); a predictive effect of the positive self-worth on a mother’s perception of having a difficult child is found (β = −0.37, p < 0.05); and a predictive effect of dyadic cohesion on a mother’s perception of having a difficult child (β = −0.40, p < 0.05) is found.
Discussion: The results are discussed from a sociocultural perspective, and their implications on early motherhood, especially in Italy, are considered
