Kepemimpinan dan Budaya Kerja Islami dalam Mendukung Mutu Pendidikan Madrasah

Madrasah dalam dekade terakhir ini merupakan lembaga pendidikan bagi orang tua untuk menjadi tempat penyelenggaraan pendidikan bagi putra-putrinya. Bahkan beberapa daerah tertentu jumlah madrasah meningkat cukup tajam dari tahun ke tahun. Hal ini justru masyarakat sekarang memilih lembaga pendidikan madrasah sebagai tempat pendidikan untuk anak-anaknya. Karena madrasah dipandang dapat mengatasi problematika penyajian mata pelajaran yang dianggap tidak seimbang yaitu antara penyajian mata pelajaran umum dengan mata pelajaran agama. Bahkan masyarakat memiliki keyakinan bahwa madrasah merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang bermutu dan berhasil, sehingga mendorong mereka untuk menyekolahkan anak-anaknya ke madrasah tersebut. Lembaga pendidikan madrasah yang tumbuh dan berkembang di masyarakat harus diperhatikan untuk ditingkatkan mutunya, baik tentang pelaksanaan pendidikan maupun perbaikan-perbaikan administrasi. Pendidikan madrasah di Kecamatan Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon terdiri dari Madrasah Diniyah, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah dan Madrasah Aliyah. Mutu pendidikan madrasah di Kecamatan Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon hasil penelitian ini, dipengaruhi oleh faktor kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dan budaya islami

Penanaman Karakter Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran PAI pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta Tahun 2015

This study aimed to describe: 1) The values of Islamic education that was developed in the cultivation of character in the fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Surakarta 16. 2) The planting of character in students through learning PAI fourth grade 16 Surakarta Muhammadiyah. 3) inhibiting factors in the cultivation of character in students through learning in fourth grade PAI 16 Surakarta Muhammadiyah. This type of research is qualitative research (Qualitative Research) .Informan this research is the principal, teachers and students of class IV PAI. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the steps of data reduction and conclusion. Mechanical data validity checking is done by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that in SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta has implemented the planting of character in students with methods of habituation and exemplary through learning PAI, a method of habituation and exemplary penananaman characters in 16 Surakarta already well underway, although there was little resistance, but the teacher has given a solution so that these obstacles can be minimized

Antiradical Activity Study of Momordica Charantia L Seeds Based on DPPH and Its Secondary Metabolites Analysis

Momordica charantia L seed is classified as the domestic waste even though it has many health benefits, namely as anti-tumor, anti-virus, and as a medicine to increase the body resistance. Therefore, this study was designed to examine the antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract of the seeds using the DPPH method. Furthermore, a GC-MS analysis will be carried out to determine the chemical compounds that play a role in the bioactivity. Based on the absorbance of DPPH in three repetitions, the average value of DPPH inhibition by 95% ethanol extract of bitter melon seeds was 60.45%, in which classified as a good radical absorbance. The GC-MS results showed that the ethanol extract of bitter melon seeds contained ten chemical compounds consisting of sesquiterpenes, fatty acids, and alkanes, which affecting the radical absorbance of M. charantia extract
