Exercise Therapy as a Treatment for Men’s Mental Health

By analyzing qualitative and quantitative studies, reviewing articles, and collecting personal anecdotes, my research determined mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety, are often under-diagnosed in men and how exercise therapy can be a viable intervention. Inaccessibility to traditional forms of treatment and stigmas surrounding seeking help stem from traditional masculinity patterns and have been shown to be a likely cause behind these statistics. Through the analysis of primary literature in scientific journals, exercise therapy has been suggested to be a very effective intervention for treating poor mental health through the experiences of patients. The serious lack of attention and research surrounding men’s mental health in the western world has led to men’s death by suicide rates to nearly quadruple the rate of women, although women are diagnosed with mental health disorders at a higher rate. Could Cultures Determine the Course of Epidemics and Explain Waves of COVID-19?

Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, is an infectious disease that quickly became a pandemic spreading with different patterns in each country. Travel bans, lockdowns, social distancing, and non-essential business closures caused significant economic disruptions and stalled growth worldwide in the pandemic’s first year. In almost every country, public health officials forced and/or encouraged Nonpharmaceutical Interventions (NPIs) such as contact tracing, social distancing, masks, and quarantine. Human behavioral decision-making regarding social isolation significantly impedes global success in containing the pandemic. This thesis focuses on human behaviors and cultures related to the decision-making of social isolation during the pandemic. Within a COVID-19 disease transmission model, we created a conceptual and deterministic model of human behavior and cultures. This study emphasizes the importance of human behavior in successful disease control strategies. Additionally, we introduce a back engineering approach to determine whether cultures are explained by the courses of COVID-19 epidemics. We used a deep learning technique based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) to predict cultures from COVID-19 courses. In this system, CNN is used for deep feature extraction with ordinary convolution and with residual blocks. Also, a novel concept is introduced that converts tabular data into an image using matrix transformation and image processing validated by identifying some well-known function. Despite having a small and novel data set, we have achieved an 80-95% accuracy, depending on the cultural measures

PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN TAJAK TUNGGAL INOVATIF DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN KUALITAS ALAT PENDUKUNG PRODUKSI KELOMPOK TANI MUSARA PAKAT KECAMATAN SERBAJADI

Pelatihan pembuatan tajak tunggal inovatif pada kelompok tani musara pakat bertujuan untuk (1) Peningkatan kualitas inovasi tajak tunggal kelompok tani musara pakat. (2) Meningkatnya kualitas SDM kelompok tani musara pakat (3) Mempermudah dan mempercepat proses penanaman benih jagung. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di desa seulemak, kecamatan serbajadi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara luring kepada 15 anggota kelompok tani musara pakat. Proses pelaksanaan pengabdian pertama koordinasi kegiatan, kedua sosialisasi tajak tunggal inovatif, ketiga pelatihan pengelasan dasar, keempat pelatihan pembuatan tajak tunggal inovatif dan kelima Uji coba pengaplikasian tajak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pembuatan tajak tunggal inovatif dapat : (1) Meningkatkan inovasi kelompok tani musara pakat dalam pembuatan tajak tunggal. (2) Meningkatkan kualitas SDM kelompok tani musara pakat (3) Mempermudah dan mempercepat proses penanaman benih jagung. Pelatihan pembuatan tajak tunggal inovatif merupakan bagian dari transfer teknologi dan informasi dalam bidang pertanian dalam upaya menjadikan kelompok tani musara pakat sebagai percontohan pertanian jagung di kecamatan serbajadi

Increasing Students’ Learning Outcomes through Cooperative Learning Model Mind Mapping Type

The purpose of this study is to find out how to apply the cooperative learning model, mind mapping type to improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles which each cycle is carried out 3 times. The research procedure includes planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were 26 fourth grade students at SD Inpres Batanghari Jambi. The research result showed that in the first cycle, from 26 students, only 14 students completed individually, with an average score of 67.30. This has met the minimum completeness criteria or is in the moderate category, but this result does not meet the classical completeness criteria because only 53.85% of students have studied thoroughly, while the classical completeness that must be achieved is 85% of the total number of students. In cycle II, from 26 students, there were 24 students (92.31%) who met the minimum completeness criteria. Classically, it has also been fulfilled, namely the average value obtained is 80.19 or is in the high category. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students through the application of the Mind Mapping cooperative learning model had increased

Comparison of Cooperative Diversity Protocols in Various Relay Locations through Network Coding

In this paper, the performance of Network Coded (NC) based cooperative network for various relay location over Rayleigh fading channels is studied. Comparisons of Amplify and Forward (AAF), Detect and Forward (DTF) and Decode and forward (DCF) protocols for the proposed system are shown. The performance of relays in AAF, DTF and DCF is analyzed in terms of bit error rate (BER) vs signal to noise ratio (SNR). Matlab is used to build Monte-Carlo link level simulation. Out of Distribution Performance of State of Art Vision Model

The vision transformer (ViT) has advanced to the cutting edge in the visual recognition task. Transformers are more robust than CNN, according to the latest research. ViT's self-attention mechanism, according to the claim, makes it more robust than CNN. Even with this, we discover that these conclusions are based on unfair experimental conditions and just comparing a few models, which did not allow us to depict the entire scenario of robustness performance. In this study, we investigate the performance of 58 state-of-the-art computer vision models in a unified training setup based not only on attention and convolution mechanisms but also on neural networks based on a combination of convolution and attention mechanisms, sequence-based model, complementary search, and network-based method. Our research demonstrates that robustness depends on the training setup and model types, and performance varies based on out-of-distribution type. Our research will aid the community in better understanding and benchmarking the robustness of computer vision models

UPGRADING HARD SKILL KELOMPOK TANI MUSARA PAKAT DI KABUPATEN ACEH TIMUR

Kelompok tani musara pakat merupakan salah satu kelompok tani yang berada di desa Seulemak, Kecamatan Serbajadi Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Proses produksi jagung khususnya pada saat pemupukan tanaman dilakukan dengan cara menyenuh langsung pupuk yang akan ditabur pada setiap pohon, tanpa adanya penggunaan alat pelindung diri. Rendahnya kualitas SDM merupakan dampak dari lokasi desa yang berada dalam Kawasan terisolir. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk: (1). Meningkatkan literasi teknologi pertanian, (2). Meningkatnya kualitas SDM, (3). Meningkatnya hardskill kelompok tani musara pakat dalam menciptakan teknologi pertanian tepat guna, dan; (4). Meningkatnya produksi jagung serta pendapatan kelompok tani musara pakat. Kegiatan Upgrading Hard Skill Alat Dukung Produksi Pertanian Kelompok Tani Musara Pakat di Kabupaten Aceh Timur dengan metode sosialisasi, Fokus Group Discucion, rancangan typology alat, pembuatan alat tabur pupuk, Uji coba alat dan pendampingan. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan adalah meningkatnya wawasan, pengetahuan dan hardskill kelompok tani musara pakat. Melalui kegiatan transfer teknologi yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdi maka diharapkan adanya peningkatan produksi hasil pertanian jagung hingga pada akhirnya meningkatnya kesejahteraan kelompok tani musara pakat
