    This study is to determine the effects of product and location on consumer purchasing decision at rumah makan Sama Raso Palembang. The purpose of research is to determine which variables are most dominant in influencing consumer consumer purchasing decisions. Data obtained from the questionnaires, obrservations, interviews, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, correlation, and coefficient determination. The result show that there is a strong relation between two variables. Product influence positive and siginificant on consumer purchasing decision. Location influence positive and siginificant on consumer purchasing decision. Suggests to rumah makan samo raso to keep improve both the reference variables that product in quality and the location because that is logical reason comsumers in deciding to make a purchase.

    The purpose of this research is to determine the soybean of raw material inventory planning that economical in Primkopti Palembang. After did the experiment, the writer found out a problem, such as Primkopti did not know of total the economist purchase that should they do. The problem is used from the first interviews. The writer use interviews to get the primary data and documentation to get the secondary data. Therefore, the writer purposed to give advice for company that there was a method which could use to determine the total of economist purchase, was economic order quantity (EOQ) method, that would count by the formula that wrote by Yamit (2011). And also to know the total inventory cost that counted by the formula wrote by Buffa and Rakesh (1996). The writer get the results of this research is that Primkopti doesn’t have surplus about soybean of raw materials inventory in 2009, 2010, and 2012. But in 2011, Primkopti has surplus the raw materials

    The objective of this study was to determine consumer ethnocentrisme in Palembang. Ethnocentrism defined as the tendency of consumers to accept or reject any foreign-made products. Ethnocentrism is considered as an effortt better understand consumer behavior related to affective and normative aspect to buy national product. CETSCALE, ethnocentrisme scale consumers from Shrimp & Sharma used in this study. Data collection used a questionnare with seven points of measurement Likert Scale. A convinience sample of 90 students was employed in this study. The Spearman test apply to the correlation of consumer ethnocentrisme and low involvement also high involvement decission process. The result conclude that consumers have a low preference to use of local product, among low invelvement and high involvement decission process. Indonesian government and companies need to increasing consumers awereness to use local product

    The Purpose of this research is to determine the effect of price against the decisions of consumers in purchasing BlackBerry Curve at Senior High School students at Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. The writer would like to know how prices affect students\u27 decisions to buy the BlackBerry Curve. Data used is the purchase decision, which is the dependent variable (Y) and the influence of price is the independent variable (X). Quantitative method was used in this research, in taking the samples, the writer used the stratified random sampling technique. 95 samples were asked to complete the questionnaire. The obtained data were processed by using sloven\u27s formula as quoted by Husein (2001) then those data were analyzed by using the theoretical framework developed by private (2011). The writer found that there was price effect against students\u27 decisions to buy the BlackBerry Curve. The result showed that the coefficient regression value was 0,611 it meant that there was a positive correlation between price affect against students\u27 decisions to buy the BlackBerry Curve. Based on the value above, the writer can conclude that any value addition carried a price variable, then an increase in students purchasing decision to buy a BlackBerry Curve

    PENINGKATAN KUALITAS JASA PERBANKAN DALAM MENGHADAPI MASYARAKAT EKONOMI ASEAN (MEA)

    Perkembangan perbankan di Palembang menunjukkan perkembangan yang cukup signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kualitas jasa perbankan serta untuk mengetahui dimensi kualitas jasa apakah yang dominan mempengaruhi kepuasan nasabah sehingga dapat ditingkatkan dalam memasuki persaingan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah survey dengan menggunakan kuesioner pada 98 orang responden nasabah tabungan Bank Mandiri Cabang XYZ Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas serta uji korelasi dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima dimensi kualitas jasa cukup kuat berhubungan dengan kepuasan nasabah dimana angka R sebesar 0,594. Dimensi bukti fisik (tangible) merupakan dimensi yang paling erat mempengaruhi kepuasan nasabah
