    Pencitraan Selebritas Politisi di Blog Kompasiana

    Most people have become unacceptable with celebrities who are turned into politician; because people considered them just take the advantage of politics with their popularity. This study aims to determine how Kompasianer (member of the blog Kompasiana) imaged celebrity politician who became a candidate in the election of the Governor and the Vice Governor of West Java in 2013. Researcher collect 29 post in blog Kompasiana based on 3 time periods: pre-campaign, campaign, and post-campain. These posts analyze with the Critical Discourse Analysis method, with a text element model approach Teun Van Dijk. This model approach is elaborated into the structures and text elements. This study found that celebrities become a great factor in the election of Governor and Vice Governor of West Java 2013, and Rieke Diah Pitaloka is the most popular candidate. Kompasianer imaged the political celebrities subjectively and objectively. Subjective image is the expression of Kompasianer emotion aboout those 3 celebrities (like/dislike, agree/disagree. The objective image is the perception about those celebrities by the cognition of Kompasianer. This potray using two measuring devices, namely: impressions and beliefs. Based on the research results, the researchers concluded that the subjective and objective imagery is largely due to media coverage of the celebrity in question. This image then becomes difficult to remove even celebrities have long been in the political world

    RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa is a traditional restaurant. However, the advantages offered by this restaurant is considered suboptimal. Many of the complaints submitted by cosumers to the company, among others regarding who are less tham satisfactory, and etc. So that these things will obviously influence purchase decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality, product quality, and word of mouth communication to purchase decision in RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa consumer RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa, Kudus. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this research that consumers RM Garang Asem Sari Rasa and the number of samples taken was 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this study using a non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is cross tabulation, correlation, determination, simple linear regression, multiple, t test and F test with SPSS version 16.Based on the survey results revealed that the quality service, product quality, and word of mouth communication provides a positive and significant influence on purchase decision, either partially or simultaneously. Independent variables that have the most influence on purchase decision is variable word of mouth communication. The advice that can be given is to give training to employees, improving hygiene in the dining area, increasing the neatness on every employee using a uniform, always keeping and improving the selection of raw materials to keep it fresh, adjust the portion of food that is always the same, improve service so that consumers feel deserve to recommend to the people around him

    The Usage of E-Learning of Academic Information System (SIAT) as Communication Media for Lecturer and Students at State University of Gorontalo

    The progress of information and communication in the global era has encompassed almost every aspect of human life. especially in academic life, currently many have made innovation for effective e-learning. the objective of this research is to find out the usage of e-learning in siat as communication media for students and lecturer at state university of Gorontalo. this research uses qualitative method and data are collected using observation, interview, and documentation. the observation was conducted to directly see the activity of the research informents, interview to collect the data from the informant, and document analysis as additional data. the research reveals that (1) e-learning media at state university of Gorontalo is used to transmit message from lecturer to students. (2) through e-learning in siat, communication between lecturer and students is one way and two ways communication, the message consist of message/instruction from lecturer to students and message to open up discussion space among students and lecturer.     Mengatasi Dampak Negatif Voluntourism dalam Komunitas Lokal (Studi Kasus Lembaga Kursus Bahasa Jepang Bunka Kenkyuukai YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia)

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif mengenai dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan program voluntourism dalam bidang pendidikan di Bunka Kenkyuukai, sebuah lembaga kursus Bahasa Jepang dan Indonesia di Yogyakarta, yang merupakan destinasi program voluntourism dari agen wisata Jepang. Beberapa efek negatif yang ditimbulkan seperti tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan Bunka Kenkyuukai, terhambatnya proses belajar mengajar dan gagalnya proses pertukaran lintas budaya yang berguna bagi pendidikan siswa disebabkan karena Bunka Kenkyuukai sebagai local host community tidak memiliki control terhadap jalannya program. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan sejumlah observasi dan wawancara kepada direktur, staff, guru dan siswa di Bunka Kenkyuukai mengenai jalannya program voluntourism. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa saran yang dapat dilakukan oleh Bunka Kenkyuukai untuk mengambil control terhadap jalannya program, agar program tersebut dapat memberikan manfaat sebagaimana mestinya. Saran yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan serangkaian manajemen internal mulai dari manajemen strategi, manajemen marketing, manajemen operational hingga manajemen finansial. Dengan melakukan Perubahan dalam hal manajemen diharapkan program voluntourism di Bunka Kenkyuukai dapat memberikan manfaaat tidak hanya bagi perkembangan pendidikan siswa tetapi juga bagi kelangsungan bisnis Bunka Kenkyuukai
