The damaging effect of consuming fermented Oryza sativa var. glutinosa on Pancreatic Organ. Tuak is one of the alcoholic drinks made using recipes from the ancestors of the Dayak tribe in the West Kalimantan region. Tuak is commonly consumed especially at traditional ceremonies and holidays. Some studies report that consuming alcoholic drinks negatively impacts health. This study aimed to examine the effect of consuming tuak on blood glucose levels and histopathology of the pancreatic organ. Male mice were grouped into four groups, ten mice each. Group A was negative control (no administered tuak), group B, C, and D were administered tuak at dose 0.26 mL/20 g body weight per day for 7, 14, and 21 consecutive days. Compared to the negative control, the administration of tuak at different time spans showed anincrease in blood glucose levels (P<0.05) and in the scoring lesion of the pancreatic organ (P <0.05). It is concluded that the pancreatic organ damage that occurred due to repeated use of tuak is accompanied by increasing blood glucose levels

The purpose of this research is to determine effectiviness of TPS model accompained by flipbook media to ward study result at material Protista in class X SMA Negeri 1 Sanggau Ledo. The research was a Quasy Experimental with Nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this research are XE as experiment class and XB as control class. The instrument been used was multiple choice test that consists of 20 items. Average study result that had been TPS model accompained by flipbook media 15,03 was higher by those using conventional teaching 13,90. The U Mann Whitney test obtained Zcount< -Ztable that is -2,52 < -1,96, meaning that there were significant differences between study result that taught by TPS model accompained by flipbook media and conventional learning. Value of Effect Size obtained 0,48 is medium, meaning the use TPS model accompained by flipbook media effectively improve study result at material protista. The present study was conducted to investigate the hepatoprotective activity of ethanolic extract of dog fruit rind (Pithecellobium lobatum benth.) against carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Male Wistar albino rats were randomly divided into four groups and administered orally with 50 mg/200 g body weight of dog fruit rind extract (K1), 100 mg/200 g body weight (K2) of dog fruit rind extract, 5 mg/200 g body weight of silymarin (K3/positive control), and 0.4 mL/200 g body weight of distilled water (K4/negative control), for seven days The levels of alanine transaminase (ALT) of each K1; K2; K3; and K4 were 143.40±83.75 U/L, 94.80±93.77 U/L, 130.20±58.54 U/L and 147.25±107.97 U/L, respectively, while the aspartate transaminase (AST) levels were 304.20±128.67 U/L; 213.20±88.93 U/L; 333.00±128.31 U/L; and 239.25 ± 94.90 U/L, respectively (P0.05). Group K2 showed better histological pattern than other groups with 60% of mild and 40% of moderate liver damage. Our findings revealed the hepatoprotective activity of the ethanolic extract of dog fruit rind

The magazine is one of the learning media that is rarely used in school. This research aimed to know the feasibility of endocrine system magazines and examine the learners' response to magazines as the media. This type of research is research and development. Five expert judgments tested the feasibility of the magazine. The aspects that were assessed were the material and media aspects. The product trials were done on nine students—the responses measured included cognitive, affective, and conative. The result of this research showed, on the feasible test CVR score of the material and media aspects was 1. Moreover, the CVI score was one as well. On the product trial, the score for cognitive aspect 85,18%, affective 83,33%, conative 87,77%,  and the average responses 85,42%. It can be concluded that endocrine system magazine was feasible as learning media. Furthermore, magazines as a media gained a positive and strong response. So magazines can be a choice of media that can help learning activities
