Classification and Grading of Wheat Granules using SVM and Naive Bayes Classifier

    Get PDF
India is the second leading producer of wheat in the world. Specifying the quality of wheat manually is very time consuming and requires an expert judgment. With the help of image processing techniques, a system can be made to avoid the human inspection. Classification of wheat grains is carried out according to their grades to determine the quality. Images are acquired for wheat grains using digital camera. Conversions to gray scale, Smoothing, Thresholding, Canny edge detection are the checks that are performed on the acquired image using image processing technique. Classification and Grading of wheat grain is carried out by extracting morphological, color and texture features. These features are given to SVM and Naive Bayes Classifier for classification. To evaluate the classification accuracy, from the total of 1300 data sets 50% were used for training and the remaining 50% was used for testing. The classification system was supervised corresponding to the predefined classes of grades. Results showed that overall accuracy of SVM and Naive Bayes classifier is 94.45%, 92.60% respectively. So, the classification performance of SVM is better than Naive Bayes Classifier. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15085

The number of Smartphone users and mobile applications are growing rapidly. Though smart phones are expected to have PC-like functionality, hardware resources such as CPUs, memory and batteries are still limited. To solve this resource problem, many researchers have proposed architectures to use server resources in the cloud for mobile devices. The system proposed conceptual architecture of development of android cloud for efficient implementation of platform as a service, which enables multiple user Android applications on cloud server via network. Though Android is mainly designed for physical Smartphone, Android’s too the features are useful to construct a server platform. Android is open-source product and run sonanx86 CPU. Android is an open-source mobile OS initiated by Google. The main reason to use Android as a server platform is that it is able to run not only for smart honesbutalso for the x86 platform including servers. We show three types of multi-tenant architecture for an Android server platform and discuss the direction to take to it reality

Improper parking can cause several issues and problems, including Reduced Accessibility, Inconvenience for Other Drivers, Public Transportation Disruption, Environmental and Aesthetic Concerns, Public Perception, and Traffic Congestion. Addressing these issues typically calls for a combination of traffic management, public awareness campaigns, law enforcement, smart urban design, and community involvement to preserve the successful and safe usage of public spaces

Impact of COVID-19 on cardiovascular testing in the United States versus the rest of the world

Objectives: This study sought to quantify and compare the decline in volumes of cardiovascular procedures between the United States and non-US institutions during the early phase of the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the care of many non-COVID-19 illnesses. Reductions in diagnostic cardiovascular testing around the world have led to concerns over the implications of reduced testing for cardiovascular disease (CVD) morbidity and mortality. Methods: Data were submitted to the INCAPS-COVID (International Atomic Energy Agency Non-Invasive Cardiology Protocols Study of COVID-19), a multinational registry comprising 909 institutions in 108 countries (including 155 facilities in 40 U.S. states), assessing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on volumes of diagnostic cardiovascular procedures. Data were obtained for April 2020 and compared with volumes of baseline procedures from March 2019. We compared laboratory characteristics, practices, and procedure volumes between U.S. and non-U.S. facilities and between U.S. geographic regions and identified factors associated with volume reduction in the United States. Results: Reductions in the volumes of procedures in the United States were similar to those in non-U.S. facilities (68% vs. 63%, respectively; p = 0.237), although U.S. facilities reported greater reductions in invasive coronary angiography (69% vs. 53%, respectively; p < 0.001). Significantly more U.S. facilities reported increased use of telehealth and patient screening measures than non-U.S. facilities, such as temperature checks, symptom screenings, and COVID-19 testing. Reductions in volumes of procedures differed between U.S. regions, with larger declines observed in the Northeast (76%) and Midwest (74%) than in the South (62%) and West (44%). Prevalence of COVID-19, staff redeployments, outpatient centers, and urban centers were associated with greater reductions in volume in U.S. facilities in a multivariable analysis. Conclusions: We observed marked reductions in U.S. cardiovascular testing in the early phase of the pandemic and significant variability between U.S. regions. The association between reductions of volumes and COVID-19 prevalence in the United States highlighted the need for proactive efforts to maintain access to cardiovascular testing in areas most affected by outbreaks of COVID-19 infection

Review of Composite Material Mono Leaf Spring

Abstract--Weight reduction has been the main focus of automobile manufacturers. Weight reduction can be achieved primarily by the introduction of better material, design optimization and better manufacturing processes. The suspension leaf spring is one of the potential items for weight reduction in automobiles as it accounts for 10 %- 20 % of the unsprung weight. This achieves the vehicle with more fuel efficiency and improved riding qualities. The introduction of composite materials was made it possible to reduce the weight of leaf spring without any reduction on load carrying capacity and stiffness. Since, the composite materials have more elastic strain energy storage capacity and high strength to weight ratio as compared with those of steel, multi-leaf steel springs are being replaced by mono-leaf composite springs. The composite material offer opportunities for substantial weight saving but not always are cost-effective over their steel counter parts. The leaf spring should absorb the vertical vibrations and impacts due to road irregularities by means of variations in the spring deflection so that the potential Energy is stored in spring as strain energy and then released slowly. So, increasing the energy storage capability of a leaf spring ensures a more compliant suspension system. The material selected was glass fiber reinforced polymer (E-glass/epoxy), carbon epoxy and graphite epoxy is being used for making an mono leaf spring. Here we are selected and analyzed with the objective of minimizing weight of the composite leaf spring as compared to the steel leaf spring

    Data Lineage In Malicious Environments

In this paper cover Data Lineage in Malicious Environment. A data provider has given precise data to a set of supposedly trusted node protocol. Some of the data are leaked and found in an unjustified place. The provider must assess the nearest that the crevice data came from one or more node protocol, as opposed to having been individually fetch by other terms. We propose data allocation strategies that improve theprobability of identifying crevices. These methods do not build on alterations of the released data. In some cases, we can also implant “realistic but wrong andthreaten data” data records to further improve our chances of detecting crevice and identifying the guilty party. While sending data over the network there is lots of illegitimate user trying to get useful information
