It is proved the necessity for carrying out computing experiments according to the mean value and the square of registered X-ray photons absorbed energy of in a scintillation detector. The offered imitation model of the transfer and registration of high-energy X-ray radiation in a sensing volume of CsI and CdWO[4] scintillation detectors is based on a Monte Carlo method. The model considers leakage of secondary photons and electrons. It is offered approaches to justification of adequacy of the developed model of a high-energy X-ray radiation registration

Electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of transparent yttria-based ceramics with zirconium and hafnium additives contain signals with close parameters due to paramagnetic Zr3+ and Hf3+ ions, which have similar ground-state electron configurations of [Kr]4d 1 and [Xe]5d 1, respectively. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Effect of periodic parametric excitation on an ensemble of force-coupled self-oscillators

We report the synchronization behavior in a one-dimensional chain of identical limit cycle oscillators coupled to a mass-spring load via a force relation. We consider the effect of periodic parametric modulation on the final synchronization states of the system. Two types of external parametric excitations are investigated numerically: periodic modulation of the stiffness of the inertial oscillator and periodic excitation of the frequency of the self-oscillatory element. We show that the synchronization scenarios are ruled not only by the choice of parameters of the excitation force but depend on the initial collective state in the ensemble. We give detailed analysis of entrainment behavior for initially homogeneous and inhomogeneous states. Among other results, we describe a regime of partial synchronization. This regime is characterized by the frequency of collective oscillation being entrained to the stimulation frequency but different from the average individual oscillators frequency.Comment: Comments and suggestions are welcom

Analysis of the physical fitness of students in accordance with the norms of the All-Russian sports complex «Ready for labor and defense» with regard to somatic type

Objective: to detect the relationship between body types (somatotype) and successful passing of the standards of «Ready for Labor and Defense-2014» in students-boys of 18-20 years old. Materials and methods: the study involved 82 male students. The method of somatotyping by Dorokhov RN, Petrukhina VG (1989) was used to determine the body types. The overall and component level of variation was defined. We used the results of passing the test standards and compared them with data on the implementation of the norms of GTO in some types of tests: 100-meters race, 3000-meters race, pulling out from suspension on high bar, standing long jump using double-legged take-off. Results: the muscle mass dominates in all somatic groups, which corresponds to macromuscular type (0,509-0,799). The representatives of microsomatiс type have the highest results - 0.7. When comparing the results of tests of «pulling out from suspension on high bar» with the standards of GTO 2014 6 stage, the best results were found in microsomes group: 90.5% of the subjects completed the specification and received the gold badge, 4.8% of the subjects received the bronze badge, 4.8% of the subjects failed tasks. In mesosomes group only 60% of the subjects fulfilled the standard of «pulling-up» and received the gold badge, 33.33% of the subjects received the silver badge, 6.67% of the subjects did not fulfill the norm. While analyzing the results of «standing long jump using double-legged take-off» more successful results were obtained in the MaC group: 46.67% received the gold badge, 33.33% received the silver badge, 16.67% received the bronze badge, 3.33% did not fulfill the norm. Conclusions: assessing the anthropometric and functional parameters of the organism of students, it is necessary to consider not only the average age range, but also pay attention to the constitutional-typological features

Development of correction coefficients for cable cross-sections selection in polymeric cable channel

Relevance. The need to develop correction coefficients for selecting cable sections when laying in the polymeric cable channel in the Russian Federation. Currently, there are no recommendations fixed by the state standards for laying cable power lines in polymer pipes. Aim. To develop correction factors for laying cable power lines in the polymer cable channel. Objects. Cable transmission lines laid underground in polymer pipes. Methods. Numerical simulation of combined frequency-stationary method; determination of correction factors based on interpolation of model results; evaluation and analysis of comparison of cables in corrugated and smooth polymer pipes. Results. Calculations of the long-term current load for cables laid in the polymeric cable channel showed the effectiveness of this method of laying cable lines. The use of pipes with smooth walls makes it much more efficient to remove heat from cables into the environment (compared to a corrugated pipe), which allows you to increase the capacity of the same cable by about 25%, depending on the number of pipes laid nearby. Based on the results of the simulation of the thermal mode of corrugated and smooth polymer pipes, it can be concluded that corrugated pipe significantly complicates heat removal from the cable system to the environment (soil). This is due to the presence of air gaps in the ribbed structure of the corrugated pipe. The gaps filled with air act as a heat-insulating layer, unlike a smooth pipe in which this gap is absent. The developed coefficients will take into account the influence of the location of cables on their allowable current already at the design stage, which will reduce the cost of power transmission losses due to the wrong cable cross-section and high temperature
