This paper presents a systematic review of the literature on the factors that affect the use and / or commercialization of patents produced by university institutions. For this, institutional (political-contextual), organizational and individual aspects (at the inventor's level) are considered. The review is made from four secondary sources: Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar and Lens.org, selecting a total of 100 documents. Bibliometric and critical content analysis are used for the analysis, compiling 289 factors. After its review, six categories corresponding to Resources and infrastructure, Strategy, Relationship, Policies, Organizational structure and capacities, and Culture were identified. Following the review of recurrences, 36 factors were consolidated, the organizational axis being the one with the highest number of 19. The results show that the use and / or commercialization of academic patents is highly complex, in which several factors associated with policies, strategy, resources, capabilities and culture. It is necessary to understand its relationship with the institutional, organizational and individual axes as a key to the design of strategies that can improve the transfer processes in universities

The coronavirus crisis has created different initiatives that promote access to open publications and open data, solve collaboratively and from different places, being an example of the benefits of open science. From the initial version of the Compilation on Open Science from COVID-19: Open Access + Open Data (Version I: April 3, 2020) published by Alejandro Uribe-Tirado (http://eprints.rclis.org/39864/), it seemed to us, a good practice to update this first input openly and collaboratively, using the platform: https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/covid19. The institutional repositories represent the so-called Greenway of the Open Access movement, facilitating access to information and the management of the scientific memory of universities and research centers. In this sense, its operation should not only be optimized in terms of guaranteeing the organization and retrieval of documents, but also optimizing the processes of interoperability and digital preservation. It is here where the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) has taken place as the standard that guides and optimizes processes for digital preservation. Based on the above, this article reports the results of documentary research on the use of the OAIS model in institutional repositories, for this purpose the developed search methodology and the analysis of the factors to be considered in the management of the repositories are presented. The results compile experiences and implementation categories, basic principles, and operating schemes to meet conditions of comprehensiveness, interoperability, and ease in the recovery and preservation of the scientific and academic memory of the institutions. Mainly a trend towards distributed models and architectures, a greater number of experiences in Europe and the United States and the use of systems and software such as DSpace, Lockss, and Archivematica can be evidenced.

This paper presents the results of research on trends in the information sciences in the framework of the project “Curricular innovation of the undergraduate programs in Archival and Library Sciences of the Universidad de Antioquia” of the Escuela Interamericana de Bibliotecología. Social trends were analyzed to think about how political, educational, economic, and environmental factors influence the contexts in which professionals and institutions operate; trends in scientific and academic production in the field of information sciences, to investigate where research is going. Trends in information and data technologies are described, characterized by rapid changes and developments which indicate the horizons of this area of work, but which are not the sole determinant of trends. Finally, we reflect on trends in institutions, how they respond to these transformations and social and technological demands. The method implemented in the research had a mainly qualitative approach, using four research techniques: 1) analysis of social networks of scientific production; 2) consultation of press releases from multilateral organizations and institutions in the area; 3) analysis of market sources; and 4) development of in-depth interviews with specialists in the field. It is concluded that technological development and the role of information and memory professionals and institutions demand constant and abrupt changes for the adoption of new technologies. However, care must be taken; a critical and conscious position must be taken, which does not ignore the foundations of the fields of knowledge, and the social and cultural practices that professionals face

Since the 1990s, the open access movement has promoted democratization and global access to research based on practicesand tools that seek to break down the barriers to access and use of scientific publications.
