Daily Menstrual Symptom Evaluation Scale, and Exam Anxiety Inventory were used in the study for demographic information of the female students. It is determined at the end of the study that the female students preparing for the university entrance exam mostly suffered from menstrual pain and that their exam anxiety levels are high, that university entrance exam caused stress, and that the female students who considers passing the exam as the most important thing in their lives had irregular periods and the higher their exam anxiety is, the more complains they had in their menstrual cycles.

Sleep changes and management in the postmenoposal period
Introduction and Purpose: Sleep problems are one of the most common symptoms experienced by women in
postmenopausal period. Purpose of this study is to determine the frequency of sleep problems encountered in
the postmenopausal period and to discuss the relationship between non-pharmacological sleep management
strategies used in the treatment of sleep disorders in the postmenopausal period and the responsibilities of the
nurse. Materials and Method: The study, which is a systematic review, was carried out using the keywords
‘Postmenopausal Period’, ‘Sleep’ and ‘Sleep Management’ using Ulakbim, Turkish Medline, Google Academic
and National Thesis Center search engines. In addition, studies were accessed by searching the keywords
‘postmenopausal period’, ‘sleep’ and ‘sleep management’ through Web of Science, Pubmed, EBSCO, Cochrane
databases. A total of 508 articles were accessed as a result of these searches, and 20 articles in relation to the
research comprised the sample of the research. Studies without test-control groups, not in Turkish or English,
and studies what could not be accessed as full text were excluded. Results: Sleep hygiene training is generally
more effective in increasing sleep quality together with a few non-pharmacological methods. Light therapy is a
fast, effective, well-tolerated and generally accepted non-pharmacological treatment form, but further studies
are still required in postmenopausal sleep therapy for clinical conditions. Cognitive-behavioral interventions are
effective and recommended in the treatment of chronic primary and secondary insomnia. Due to the small number
of studies conducted regarding sleep therapy, small sample sizes, and short duration of administration, accurate
results could not be reached. Studies on relaxation exercises have shown that sleep quality of individuals with
sleep disorders increase. Conclusion: In this review, it has been determined that non-pharmacological methods
are practices that increase sleep quality against sleep problems in the postmenopausal period. However, it has
been concluded that further experimental studies are required on this matter. No sponso
