The webinar introduces the basics of data management and the new requirements for data management and sharing (for NIH funded research) that will be in place beginning in 2023. This webinar will provide “practitioner perspectives” – i.e., data librarians sharing their opportunities, barriers, methods, and successes as they work toward improving data management practices at their institutions

Research Data Management Hands on Workshop

This project includes material designed for teaching a 1.5 hour research data management workshop. It involves a case study that requires workshop participants to navigate messy data to identify the data that corresponds with the data represented in a figure from an article. Workshop attendees are then required to modify the messy data to follow research data management best practices

Data Discovery Collaboration (DDC)

The Data Discovery Collaboration (DDC) is a multi-institutional consortium that works together in order to address concerns around data discovery through discussions of metadata, outreach, software development, and systems and metadata interoperability.
