The authors present literature identifying specific needs of LGBTQ+ teens involved in career planning and propose a specialized career group counseling model designed to address those needs.     Recent media portrayals of Kink are prevalent, but not always culturally accurate and can perpetuate a stigma that impacts the therapeutic environment when working with Kink-oriented individuals. Misunderstanding the culture can increase prejudice, misdiagnosis, and maltreatment of Kink-oriented clients. The authors provide readers with an introductory primer on language used within the Kink culture, avoiding the pathology of cultural and personal preferences, and myths associated with Kink community practices.     We examined expert site supervisors’ supervision cognitions while preparing for, conducting, and evaluating their supervision sessions with master’s-level counseling students via concept mapping. Experts’ cognitions were summarized in four areas: Supervisory Relationship, Conceptualization of Supervision and Supervision Interventions, Administrative/Logistical Considerations of Supervision, and Assessment of Supervisees and Their Practice. We recommend counselor educators help counselor trainees develop this important skill using a multilayered approach including (a) using a Writing in the Disciplines (WID) approach to teach the core CACREP areas, (b) recognizing and promoting writing as a clinical competency, (c) connecting writing skills with client advocacy efforts, and (d) emphasizing the development of writing skills in continuing education
