Stable vector bundles as generators of the Chow ring
In this paper we show that the family of stable vector bundles gives a set of
generators for the Chow ring, the K-theory and the derived category of any
smooth projective variety.Comment: last version. last part removed. slightly different from published

On positivity and base loci of vector bundles
The aim of this note is to shed some light on the relationships among some
notions of positivity for vector bundles that arose in recent decades.
Our purpose is to study several of the positivity notions studied for vector
bundles with some notions of asymptotic base loci that can be defined on the
variety itself, rather than on the projectivization of the given vector bundle.
We relate some of the different notions conjectured to be equivalent with the
help of these base loci, and we show that these can help simplify the various
relationships between the positivity properties present in the literature.
In particular, we define augmented and restricted base loci and of a vector bundle on the variety , as
generalizations of the corresponding notions studied extensively for line
bundles. As it turns out, the asymptotic base loci defined here behave well
with respect to the natural map induced by the projectivization of the vector
bundle
A Characterization of Jacobians by the Existence of Picard Bundles
Based on the Matsusaka-Ran criterion we give a criterion to characterize when
a principal polarized abelian variety is a Jacobian by the existence of Picard
bundles.Comment: Latex, 11 page
A remark on stability and restrictions of vector bundles to hypersurfaces
We prove that a vector bundle on a smooth projective variety is (semi)stable if the
restriction on a fixed ample smooth subvariety is (semi)stable
Stability of line bundles transforms on curves with respect to low codimensional subspaces
We show the stability of certain syzygies of line bundles on curves, which we call line bundle transforms.
Furthermore, we prove the existence of reducible theta divisors for the transforms having integral slope.
A line bundle transform is the kernel of the evaluation map on a subspace of the space of global sections
Families of curves and variation in moduli
In this paper we study the class of smooth complex projective varieties B such that any modular morphism B -> Mg is constant for any g>1, giving structural properties and examples.
Then we investigate the concept of the moduli dimension of a variety B; we bound it by the dimension of the maximal rationally connected quotient of B.
In the end, we consider also (generically smooth) families of curves of compact type over rational and elliptic curves
