    Comparison of the effect of superplasticizing admixtures on the processes of cement hydration during mechanochemical activation

    © 2016 Ruslan Ibragimov, Sergey Pimenov, Ilham Kiyamov, Ramil Mingazov, Laysan Kiyamova.The results of the study of the influence of two different super-plasticizers on the peculiarities of the process of hydration during mechanochemical activation (MCA) of a binder are given. The influence of SAS admixtures during the MCA of a binder on the kinetics of heat release and the alkalinity of the liquid phase of cement slurry is revealed. Technological properties of concrete mixture and physicomechanical properties of heavy-weight concrete, obtained by the MCA of a binder with the SAS admixtures, were studied. Dependencies of the influence of SAS on the processes and the nature of cement hydration were established, as well as on granulometric and phase composition of hydrated new formations. It was established that the application of SAS admixtures at the MCA of a binder makes it possible to substantially increase the efficiency of cement dispergation, which manifests itself in the decrease of grain sizes and the increase in specific surface area. The MCA of a binder with SAS admixtures makes it possible to obtain homogeneous cement suspension with the uniform distribution of water in the volume of cement, which positively affects physicomechanical properties and the quality of the obtained concrete. The application of SAS admixtures at the MCA of a binder results in the reduction of induction period of hydration by 2-5 hours, and also in the acceleration of crystallization period by 5-7 hours faster than in the reference compositions. MCA of cement suspension with SAS admixtures leads to the increase in the density of concrete mixture and a substantial increase in the strength limit of heavy-weight concrete at compression during all periods of hardening. With the MCA of a binder with SAS, an increase in the amount of crystalline phase by 10-12 % is observed in the first twenty-four hours of hardening, which confirms the conclusion about acceleration of cement hydration with the joint use of SAS and MCA. According to the results of a comprehensive study we received new data of the influence of super-plasticizing admixtures of different chemical bases on the peculiarities of the processes of hydration of a binder during MCA. The obtained data can be used for selection of superplasticizing admixtures in the production of the ferroconcrete products, obtained with the MCA of a binder, as well as in the technology of construction of buildings made of monolithic reinforced concrete

    Impact of Transphyseal Elastic Nailing On the Histostructure of the Tibia in Growing Animals (Non-Randomized Controlled Experimental Study)

    BACKGROUND: The use of intramedullary elastic nailing is a method of choice for prevention of complications in children with osteogenesis imperfecta. However, the morphology of the growing long bones in the conditions created was not investigated. AIM: The purpose of our experiment was to study the impact of elastic intramedullary nailing on the histostructure of long bones in their physiological growth. METHODS: Six mongrel dogs underwent intramedullary elastic transphyseal nailing of the intact tibia with two titanium wires. Six months after nailing, a light-optical microscopic and histomorphometric study of the operated and contralateral tibiae was performed. RESULTS: It was found that asymmetric lesion of the distal physis induces a decrease in the height of the distal epimetaphysis. Adaptive changes in the hyaline cartilage of both articular ends were revealed corresponding to the initial stage of chondropathy. Intramedullary nailing promotes an increase in the thickness of the compact bone and the volume of the trabecular bone. CONCLUSIONS: Elastic transphyseal nailing of the intact tibia has a shaping effect which is expressed by an increase in the volume of spongy and compact bone, adaptive changes in the hyaline cartilage. Asymmetric damage to growth zones should be avoided to prevent deformities

The urgency of problem specified in the article stems from the fact, that requirements to innovative development of economy and present day public demands have resulted in structural and contextual modernization of educational programs, as well as introduction of modern pedagogical techniques into educational process, aimed at the improvement of special education in all fields of knowledge. The idea of practice-oriented teachers training for knowledge in special subject area and the ability to involve pupils into active educational activity assumes a particular significance in view of transition to new educational standards and a new Unit Standard of a Teacher. Practice-oriented tendency of pedagogical education involves creation of conditions for successful professional competence of a future teacher. Development of a pupil’s cognition interest to the subject of study is of utmost importance for a teacher in Physics. It is successfully reached through application of demonstrative, laboratory as well as virtual experiment. A Bachelor degree program module “Modern laboratory practicum application for training of practice-oriented teachers in Physics” has been developed at the Institute of Physics under Kazan Federal University for those specializing in pedagogical education. It is aimed at professional competences of a future teacher in Physics development related to practical skills in the area of physical experiments. The purpose of the article is investigation of the developed practice-oriented module introduction process into training of future teachers in Physics. Theoretical analysis of pedagogical literature and introduction process survey of the module “Modern laboratory practicum application for training of practice-oriented teachers in Physics” into educational process of Bachelors and Masters specializing in Pedagogy became key methods of the problem research. Here also belong the data collection and accumulation method – questioning, method of survey results introduction into pedagogical practice – practice oriented education. The main results of the research consist in the analysis of education module introduction into educational process, as well as the research results generalization and their introduction into pedagogical practice
