Intelligent wheeled mobile robot navigation
The paper deals with the wireless sensor-based remote control of mobile robots motion in an unknown environment with obstacles using the Sun SPOT technology and gives the fuzzy velocity control of a mobile robot motion in an unknown environment with obstacles. When the vehicle is moving towards the target and the sensors detect an obstacle, an avoiding strategy and velocity control are necessary. We proposed the wireless sensor-based remote control of mobile robots motion in an unknown environment with obstacles using the Sun SPOT technology and a fuzzy reactive navigation strategy of collision-free motion and velocity control in an unknown environment with obstacles. The simulation results show the effectiveness and the validity of the obstacle avoidance behavior in an unknown environment. The proposed method have been implemented on the miniature mobile robot Khepera® that is equipped with sensors
Development of Autonomous Anthropomorphic Wheeled Mobile Robotic Platform
This article presents the intelligent autonomous anthropomorphic wheeled mobile robotic platform motion control in unstructured environments. The fuzzy control of a wheeled autonomous anthropomorphic mobile robotic platform motion in unstructured environments with obstacles is proposed. Outputs of the fuzzy controller are the angular speed difference between the left and right wheels of the autonomous anthropomorphic robotic platform and the robot velocity. The simulation results show the effectiveness and the validity of the obstacle avoidance behaviour in the unstructured environment and velocity control of autonomous anthropomorphic mobile robotic platform motion of the proposed fuzzy control strategy. Wireless sensor-based remote control of autonomous anthropomorphic mobile robotic platform motion in unstructured environments is proposed

The 2022 Ranking List of Citation Analysis Researchers using h-Index
The impact factor of scientific journals and the h-index depend on the citations. Therefore, the citation analysis is a very important part of scientometrics. The paper presents the 2022 ranking list of citation analysis researchers. The ranking is presented primarily according to the h-index of researchers. The advantage the h-index is that it combines both the quantity – number of articles and quality – citations to these articles. A researcher cannot have a high h-index without publishing a considerable number of articles. The h-index favors researchers that publish a continuous stream of articles. Researchers with the same h-index are ranked by the number of citations. The minimum h-index of the 10 ranked researchers is 26. h-index can be determined from the following online databases: Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar and the Publish or Perish program. The ranking is edited using the Google Scholar database
Rankings Scientists, Journals and Countries using h-Index
Indexes in scientometrics are based on citations. However, in contrast to the journal impact factor, which gives only the ranking of the scientific journals, ordered by impact factor, indexes in scientometrics are suitable for ranking of scientists, scientific journals and countries. In this paper the h-index, h5-index, the World ranking the top of 25 Highly Cited Researchers (h > 100) and the ranking of 25 scientists in Hungarian Institutions according to their Google Scholar Citations public profiles are considered. These indexes (h5-index) are applied for making of the list of top 20 publications (journals and proceedings) in the field of Robotics. The World ranking is done of the best 50 countries according to h-index in year 2014. Data are obtained from the portal Scimago
Ranking of Croatian Researchers from Several Disciplines using Google Scholar Database
Using the h-index and the total number of citations in (natural) sciences, techniques and humanities in this article the best 10 Croatian researchers is ranked. The list may be formed based on the h-index and the total number of citations, given in Web of Science, Scopus, Publish or Perish Program and Google Scholar. Data for the first 10 researchers are presented. Google Scholar is the most complete. Therefore, to define a single indicator, h-index calculated by Google Scholar may be a good and simple one. The author chooses the Google Scholar database as it is the broadest one
Ranking of Hungarian Scientists using H-Index
The article presents the latest ranking list of Hungarian scientists in 2023. The ranking is presented primarily according to the h-index of scientists. Scientists with the same h-index are ranked by the number of citations. We present the top 34 Hungarian scientists with the minimum h-index 104. h-index can be determined from the following online databases: Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar and the Publish or Perish program. The ranking is edited using the Google Scholar database. We also present the Orcid ID number of scientists. The first chapter is the introduction, in the second chapter we present the latest ranking list of Hungarian scientists in 2023, the third chapter is the conclusions
Ranking Baltic States Researchers
In this article, using the h-index and the total number of citations, the best 10 Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian researchers from several disciplines are ranked. The list may be formed based on the h-index and the total number of citations, given in Web of Science, Scopus, Publish or Perish Program and Google Scholar database. Data for the first 10 researchers are presented. Google Scholar is the most complete. Therefore, to define a single indicator, h-index calculated by Google Scholar may be a good and simple one. The author chooses the Google Scholar database as it is the broadest one
Massive Open Online Courses in Education of Robotics
Recently, the requirement for learning is constantly increasing. MOOC – massive open online courses represent educational revolution of the century. A MOOC is an online course accessible to unlimited number of participation and is an open access via the web. Mayor participants in the MOOCS are: Coursera, Udacity (Stanford, since 2012) and edX (Harvard, MIT, since 2012). In this paper two MOOCs are considered: Introduction for Robotics and Robotics Vision, both from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia
Managing Negative Emotions Caused by Self-Driving
Reducing the negative emotions experienced in Self-Driving cars is key to increasing the number of users. To reduce anxiety, AI-based systems that measure the physiological response of passengers, mainly using biometric data, are used. In the future, the vehicle must be sufficiently emptical to reduce people’s distrust. The potential for hacking is still one of the main sources of anxiety about Self-Driving cars. To live with this difficulty, users need to be confronted with what machine learning means and accept that, contrary to expectations, Self-Driving cars cannot yet be 4 or 5 times safer than manual driving. To achieve the greater good – energy savings and lower emissions, efficient transport networks, greater use of digital infrastructure, safer and more usable public spaces, etc. – we need to be patient with Self-Driving vehicles
