    Effectiveness of post particular prolactin administration on follicle development the count in mice (Mouse muscle) female

    This study aims to test the effectiveness of postpartum prolactin administration on follicle development in the count in mice (Mouse muscle). This type of research is a true experiment using a completely randomized design (RAL). The sample for this study was mice (Mouse muscle) female strain BALB/C, aged ± 4 months with a body weight between 25-30 gr in a healthy condition and not pregnant. The data obtained was analyzed using the One-way analysis of variance (F test) with a significance level of 0.05, followed by the Least Significant Difference test (BNT. The research results show that the sig. (p) = 0.001< α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that postpartum administration of prolactin has a significant effect on follicular development of the count in mice (Mouse muscle)

    The use of banana peel as feed to increase growth of earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus)

    Research on using banana peels as feed to increase the growth of Lumbricus rubellus has been carried out. This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of different doses of banana peel pulp on feed on the growth of earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus), (2) the best dose of banana peel pulp to increase the growth of earthworms. This research is a one-factor study. The research was carried out with five levels of treatment and five replications. The doses of banana peel pulp are 0 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 750 ml, and 1000 ml. The parameters of the growth of earthworms measured were the addition of the number of individuals and the addition of the weight of the earthworm population. The research data were analyzed by analysis of variance. The research results show that: (1) the difference in the dose of banana peel pulp significantly affected the increase in the number of individuals and the weight of the earthworm population; (2) the addition of 1000 ml of banana peel pulp resulted in the highest number of individuals and the heaviest population weight compared to other treatment doses

    Eggplant growth rate is determined by genetic and environmental factors. Environmental factors that affect eggplant growth include the availability of nutrients on agricultural land. Research on analysis of purple eggplant growth after vermicompost and NPK fertilizer treatment was carried out from March to July 2023. This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of vermicompost on the growth of purple eggplant. The application of NPK fertilizer on the growth of purple eggplant. The interaction effect of vermicompost and NPK fertilizer treatment on purple eggplant growth. Growth parameter data were analyzed using the F test. The results showed that: Vermicompost application increased stem height, total leaves and leaf length but did not increase leaf width and stem diameter of purple eggplant. The application of NPK fertilizer was effective in increasing stem height, total leaves, leaf length, leaf width and stem diameter of purple eggplant. The interaction of vermicompost treatment and NPK fertilizer was not effective in increasing all measured growth parameters

    Tapak dara (Catharanthus roseus) leaf contain phytoestrogen compounds such as flavonoids, isoflavonoids, saponins, and tannins, and contain alkaloid compounds. Phytoestrogens are compounds contained in plants, having a chemical structure resembling 17β-Estradiol in the body's natural estrogen. This study aims to determine the effect of tapak dara leaf extract on the growth of ovarian follicles of mice (Mus musculus), consisting of primary follicles, secondary, tertiary, and de Graaf follicles. This research method is true experiment and Posstest-Only Control with a quantitative approach. Sampling was carried out randomized block design (RBD). The growth of mice ovarian follicles is known by counting the number of mice ovarian follicles, analyzed using the ANOVA one-way test analysis method at a sig. level of 5% (α = 0.05), then if there is a difference, proceed with a further test of Least Significant Difference) at a sig. level of 5% (α = 0.05). Data analysis using Microsoft Excel 2010. The results of the hypothesis test using One Way ANOVA stated that Fcalculate > Ftable at sum of primary follicles, which means that there is a real difference and Ha is accepted. The results of hypothesis tests at sum of secondary, tertiary, and de Graaf follicles stated that Fcalculate < Ftable, which means there is no real difference and Ha is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that tapak dara leaf extract has a significant effect on the growth of primary follicles, but does not significantly affect the growth of secondary, tertiary, and de Graaf follicles

    This study aims to examine the effect of a project-based learning model with a science, technology, and society approach to students' mastery of class VIII concepts. This type of research is a quasi-experimental type using a non-equivalent control group design. The population of the study was students of SMP Negeri 7 Mataram for the 2021/2022 academic year with a sample consisting of 74 class VIII students. The data obtained were analyzed using the Covariate Analysis test (anacova) with reference to a significance level of 0.05. The results of the study show that the sig. (p) = 0.000 less than alpha 0.05, so it can be concluded that the project-based learning model with a science and technology community approach has a significant effect on junior high school students' conceptual understanding

    Penyembuhan luka akan melambat bila terjadi infeksi terus-menerus. Salah satau cara mencegah terjadinya  infeksi pada luka adalah dengan mempercepat pembekuan darah pada luka sehingga memperkecil kemungkinan terjadinya infeksi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian true experiment, menggakan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri atas 6 perlakuan, yaitu perasan daun kopasanda konsentrasi 25%, 50% dan 100%, dan ekstrak daun kopasanda konsentrasi 5%, 10% dan 15%, untuk melihat efek perlakuan digunakan kontrol. Sampel yang digunakan adalah darah yang diambil dari 12 orang dewasa usia 20-25 tahun yang bergolongan darah A, B, AB dan O masing-masing 3 orang. Tiap perlakuan menggunakan setetes darah yang diulang 3 kali sehingga diperoleh 252 unit percobaan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji one way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perasan daun kopasanda memperlambat kecepatan pembekuan darah secara signifikan, sedangkan ekstrak daun kopasanda konsentrasi 10% dan 15% mempercepat pembekuan darah secara signifikan. Oleh karena itu disimpulkan bahwa daun kopasanda berpengaruh nyata terhadap kecepatan pembekuan darah

    Keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu tuntutan pembelajaran Abad XXI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kasus terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Unequivalent control group design dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan metode purposive sampling. Variabel bebas penelitian yaitu penerapan pembelajaran yang berbeda, sedangkan variabel terikat yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Data keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh dari hasil tes masing-masing kelas. Instrumen tes disusun berdasarkan indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Pengujian hipotesis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji ANACOVA. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai sig. (p) = 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kasus berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa

    Pengaruh Dosis dan Waktu Pemberian Kompos Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bayam Cabut (Amarathus gangeticus)

    Bayam merupakan tanaman sayuran yang cukup digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Ketersediaan unsur hara pada media tanam merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat menentukan terhadap pertumbuhan bayam cabut. Pemupukan tanaman untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan unsur hara dan pertumbuhan tanaman bayam dapat dilakukan menggunkan kompos. Penelitian tentang pengaruh dosis dan waktu pemberian kompos terhadap pertumbuhan bayam cabut sudah dilakuakan di Desa Terong tawah pada bulan Juni sampai dengan November 2020. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh dosis kompos terhadap pertumbuhan bayam cabut, (2). pengaruh waktu pemberian kompos terhadap pertumbuhan bayam cabut, (3) pengaruh interaksi antara dosis dan waktu pemberian kompos terhadap pertumbuhan bayam cabut, (4) kadar optimum kompos  yang harus diberikan  pada lahan pertanian agar bayam cabut tumbuh secara optimal. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan rancangan 2 faktor dengan 3 ulangan. Parameter pertumbuhan yang diukur adalah tinggi batang, jumlah daun, panjang daun dan diameter batang bayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perbedaan dosis kompos berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi batang, jumlah daun, panjang daun dan diameter batang bayam cabut, (2) perbedaan waktu pemberian kompos berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan yang diukur, (3) interaksi antara dosis dan waktu pemberian kompos tidak berpengaruh nyata semua parameter pertumbuhan yang diukur, (4) dosis optimum kompos adalah 1,5 kg per 1 m2 lahan pertanian, (5) pemberian kompos 28 hari sebelum tanam memberikan hasil pertumbuhan bayam cabut yang lebih baik dari pada perlakuan lainnya

    This research aims to; (1) evaluate the effect of red betel leaves\u27 extract in reducing the glucose level of mouse, (2) determine the effective extract dosage of red betel leaves.. The samples were gained by using random sampling technique. Moreover, the samples were divided into 4 groups, one controlling group and three experimental groups. In addition, the glucose was measured by glucometer. In addition, the glucose data was analyzed by using Anova one way test and continued to post hoc test.. The result of Anova test shown that p 0,001<A 0,05 so H0 was rejected. It meant that there was an effect of red betel leaves\u27 extract in reducing the glucose level of mouse. The result of post doc shown that there was significant different on reducing glucose in every level of dosage tested.. The conclusion of this research was : (1) red betel leaves\u27 extract significantly reduced the glucose level of mouse, (2) the dosage of 0,078 gr/20gr BB was already effective to reduce the glucose level of mouse

    Kemampuan penguasaan konsep merupakan kemampuan yang sangat penting untuk ditingkatkan. Untuk meningkatkannya kemampuan tersebut pada masa covid-19 salah satu inovasi untuk mencapai kemampuan tersebut adalah dengan model pembelajaran  Discovery Learning berbantuan Macromedia Flash melalui penggunaan media online. Model Discovery Learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang memiliki 6 tahapan pembelajaran yang mampu mendukung tercapainya kemampuan penguasaan konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Discovery Learning berbantuan Macromedia Flash melalui penggunaan media online terhadap penguasaan konsep biologi perserta didik  kelas XI  MIA di SMAN 1 Lingsar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi exsperiment (eksperimen semu) dengan desain pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kelas XI MIA yang terdiri dari 4 kelas dengan jumlah 143 perserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t (Polled Varians). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 3,22 > ttabel = 1,99 pada taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dinyatakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan Macromedia Flash melalui penggunaan media online berpengaruh signifikan meningkatkan penguasaan konsep perserta didik kelas XI MIA di SMAN 1 Lingsar
