A good human resource decision is based on a good human resource information system (HRIS) which should be provided to both human resource and line managers to facilitate decision making. A HRIS is made up of numerous elements. Each element must function properly if the system is going to benefit the organization. Basically, a system is a set of activities that takes inputs, transforms them into outputs. The special function of HRIS is to gather, collect, and help analyze the data necessary for the human resource department to do its job properly. A good understanding of the factors influencing user adoption the extent use of HRIS and the outcomes that impact human resource (HR) job roles is therefore critical in ensuring the HRIS usage is helping human resource. This study presents the benefits from a survey of 70 HR professional on perceived of innovations factors influencing the extent use of HRIS and to examine the outcomes factors by extensive use of HRIS. Findings revealed that visibility is the attribute of perceived of innovations that influence users extent use of HRIS. There are five outcomes factors by extensive use of HRIS. There are enable information responsiveness, enable information autonomy, enable external professional link, time required on transformational activities and time required on IT support activities. This study also discussed implications of the findings and future research recommendations

The digital era is known for technological breakthroughs in knowledge exchange through portable computing devices that include android and iOS smart phones. These gadgets, which have become a necessity for many, offer numerous advertising opportunities for companies to reach a wide pool of potential customers. Mobile advertising holds the best promise for one-to-one communication and provides avenues for direct and personalised marketing. Previous studies on consumer attitudes towards mobile advertising have generated conflicting results. This paper conceptualizes the effect of mobile advertising content on buying intention in a framework derived from past models and theories of technology acceptance. In light of the high purchase intentions of the younger generation in Malaysia, antecedents previously used in predicting the behavioural response of consumers towards mobile advertising and purchase intention were reexamined and combined with the personalization factor. Additionally, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control are proposed to have considerable impact on the purchase intentions of consumers in Malaysia. It is hoped that the proposed framework will lead to further clarity about the importance of mobile advertising content on behavioural response and therefore benefit the marketing efforts of companies by providing valuable insights on factors that influence the buying intentions of Malaysian consumers

The purpose of this study is to look at the Factors Influencing the Intention to Use Educational Management Information Systems (EMIS): Insights from Private Universities in the UAE. Since then, private universities in the UAE have struggled to manage their information systems. The research seeks to examine the factors influencing executive levels of private universities in the UAE toward the intention to use EMIS so that the relationship between the factors and TAM, TTF, D&M, and Trust can be easily analyzed. Furthermore, the study intends to assess the relationships between the TAM, TTF, D&M, and Trust and the intention of executive levels of private institutions to use EMIS. For this study, three key models were chosen: Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Task Technology Fit (TTF), and For this study, three core models were chosen: Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Task Technology Fit (TTF), and Delone Mclean Model (D&M), along with a new variable from technology usage (UTAUT), Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT), and a mediator variable from psychology studies (PSY). The most popular method of correlational research, quantitative, will be used in this study, combined with a survey. The proposed model is empirically evaluated by gathering related data through developed questionnaires based on a 5 likert and 7 likert scale to reduce common variance method issue, then non-probability sampling is chosen as a sample from the study population based on a desire, idea, or chance rather than reason. Furthermore, for data analysis, this study made use of two significant and widely used software packages, IBM SPSS.25, for example, and Partial Least Squares (PLS) with Smart PLS 3.2.7. This study provides important insights that could help senior level managers understand how Educational Management Information Systems are used

Primary purpose of the article is to develop outlier robust designs. As a matter of fact, negative effect of outliers in any experimental settings is established where the outliers at any specific design point can destroy the features of the design for which it is being developed. It is attempted here in this article to develop a version of robustness for central composite designs which may protect it for outliers by introducing the idea of minimax outlying effect. This involves the calculation of the degree of outlying effect(s) outlier(s) may produce and then minimize the maximum of these outlying effects in an attempt to equalize the influence of all design points. On comparison, these outlier robust designs are proved to be more optimal, on the scales of A, D, and E optimalities, against existing conventional rotatable, orthogonal, and other such designs. The outlier robust designs, developed here, are suitable for settings prone to outliers where conventional designs fail to represent and analyze the processes and systems. Objetivo principal do artigo é desenvolver projetos robustos outlier.              With the wide spread of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), governments are increasingly employing them to better satisfy the demands of their citizens, and to advance their vision of sustainable development. The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of Palestinian citizens’ attitudes and behavioural intentions to use the recently launched e-government services portal.  Using a revised version of the Unified Model of Electronic Government Adoption (UMEGA) that incorporates a multidimensional construct of perceived risk construct, this study addresses a gap in the e-government literature where most previous studies have used perceived risk as a unidimensional construct. The study is a quantitative study that utilizes a combination of purposive and quota sampling to draw the sample, 415 valid responses were collected from the study population, and then analysed using PLS-SEM. The findings revealed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and opportunity cost risk significantly influenced citizens' attitudes, which in turn, positively influenced their behavioural intentions

    No full text
The purpose of this paper is to share the conceptual overview of the role that Islamic modes of finance can play in the reduction of poverty. The underpinning principles of Islamic finance modes is the adherence of Islamic values and to promote economic and social justice in the society. This study is aimed at providing insights on the prevailing poverty reduction strategies and their respective impact on poverty eradicate alongside proposing an alternative Islamic model of poverty reduction. For this purpose, the present study overviews the existing literature and textual analysis of the subject to emphasize the significance of poverty as an issue around the globe along with the critical review of the strategies currently considered to eradicate poverty. Poverty has now been emerged as a global phenomenon, which is common across many nations and, perhaps, not surprisingly, a tough challenge to governments and community development-oriented organizations which have been striving to eradicate. The present paper is, therefore, an effort to propose a possible alternative approach for poverty reduction. Subsequently, some discussion has been made on the application of Islamic approaches of welfare and poverty reduction. Islam, as a religion, encourages healthy competition, private ownership, and allows demand and supply rule of working independently. Islamic approach to poverty reduction has multiple facets and it is aimed at reducing the gap between haves and have not‟s through optimum circulation of wealth in the economy and by restricting capital to generate capital and allowing other factors of production along with the risk of loss to play their due role. Keeping in view the prevailing models of poverty reduction and critical evaluation of these models, the study has proposed Islamic modes of finance as a workable plan to reduce poverty and spread social justice in the society
