LOGISTIC MANAGEMENT IN COMMERCE ENTERPRISES
The importance of logistic management for the general developmentstrategy of functioning of the enterprise is a stimulus to consider it in terms of newmethodology in enterprise management. Taking into account the up-to-date experiencesof logistics, either as a scientific branch or a practice, logistic management cannot betreated in the same way as the system management, through its aims, or the strategicmanagement understood as new method of management.logistic, management, enterprises

Kieślowski, the mysteries of screens and God
The computer seems like a privileged personage in Decalogue 1 (Dekalog, jeden, 1987/88, prem. 1989, dir. K. Kieślowski): it is used by Paweł and his father to solve mathematical questions about Miss Piggy, to calculate the durability of the ice on the pond, to know what Mum is doing, and to control domestic devices. For Kieślowski the computer is not just a gadget: Krzysztof ’s lecture describes its potential and its possible autonomy. Independent from man (the computer switches itself on), it becomes his rival: Kieślowski proposes a critical interpretation of the computer as a new idol, promising unlimited memory and knowledge. A similar preoccupation can be found in the Black Mirror series, where new technologies, existing or as yet still fantastic, are becoming more and more intrusive in the lives of their human protagonists. The computer seems also to be a rival of God, present in symbols in Decalogue 1: a sign of him is not only the metaphysical man played by Artur Barciś, but also the biblical symbol of fire and the Madonna’s tears
Fermi level pinning at the Ge(001) surface - A case for non-standard explanation
To explore the origin of the Fermi level pinning in germanium we investigate
the Ge(001) and Ge(001):H surfaces. The absence of relevant surface states in
the case of Ge(001):H should unpin the surface Fermi level. This is not
observed. For samples with donors as majority dopants the surface Fermi level
appears close to the top of the valence band regardless of the surface
structure. Surprisingly, for the passivated surface it is located below the top
of the valence band allowing scanning tunneling microscopy imaging within the
band gap. We argue that the well known electronic mechanism behind band bending
does not apply and a more complicated scenario involving ionic degrees of
freedom is therefore necessary. Experimental techniques involve four point
probe electric current measurements, scanning tunneling microscopy and
spectroscopy.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figure
Appearance of effective surface conductivity - an experimental and analytic study
Surface conductance measurements on p-type doped germanium show a small but
systematic change to the surface conductivity at different length scales. This
effect is independent of the structure of the surface states. We interpret this
phenomenon as a manifestation of conductivity changes beneath the surface. This
hypothesis is confirmed by an analysis of the classical current flow equation.
We derive an integral formula for calculating of the effective surface
conductivity as a function of the distance from a point source. Furthermore we
derive asymptotic values of the surface conductivity at small and large
distances. The actual surface conductivity can only be sampled close to the
current source. At large distances, the conductivity measured on the surface
corresponds to the bulk value.Comment: 11 pages, 8 figure
Measurement reliability of the continuous vibration monitoring process of wind turbines in conditions of an accredited laboratory
The paper deals with the problem of reliability of continuous vibration monitoring process of wind turbines. As a solution authors propose the approach based on the accreditation of the method with reference to requirements of the standard ISO 17025:2005. As equipment, measurement traceability and the handling of test and calibration items influence the testing process there is also presented a procedural, exemplary approach to intermediate checks of temperature measurement instruments
Literatura u teologů - příklad Karla Bartha a Rudolfa Bultmanna
The aim of the proposed Bachelor thesis named Literature in the works of theologians - the example of Karl Barth and Rudolf Bultmann is to assess the significance of German literature in selected works of the aforementioned theologians. In the case of Karl Barth's, the analysis is concerned with the reception of classical German authors (Römerbrief, 1919) and Dostoevsky (Römerbrief, 1922). A separate part is devoted to examining the relevant excerpts from his correspondence with the German writer Carl Zuckmayer towards the end of the theologian's life. In Rudolf Bultmann's cas, the attention is pointed at broader hermeneutic contexts, especially at the relations of culture and religion after the World War I, and Bultmann's reaction to Deschner's criticism of the role of religion from the end of the 1950s, Furthermore, an analysis of a selection of homilies form after the World War I is included, along with a brief characterization the specifics of this particular discourse. Although the grounds of this work are based on selections, its conclusion essays to argue that the function of literature may both subordinate to the Christian revelation, which creates its intelligible context and is able to answer its questions, and wholly autonomous as well, wherein literature articulates a theological them...Ústav germánských studiíInstitute of Germanic StudiesFilozofická fakultaFaculty of Art
Sexual abuse of minors by clergy in cinematography: unrecognized signs of the times
Contemporary theologians apply the historic notion of loci theologici also to media and film. Films that show the Church in a critical way are also theologically significant. Therefore, one should be aware of the appearance of documentaries and feature films, which raise the issue of sexual abuse against the youngest (paedophilia) also in the Church. The article presents the most important films, produced since the end of the 20th century, whose authors present the crime of paedophilia, its victims, the mechanisms leading to its concealment and silence not only in the Church, but also in the media and society. Films about paedophilia, which are a recognisable voice of victims in the public space, a cry for truth and justice, can also be useful tools for media education
Karl Barth a literatura
The diploma thesis deals with the selected works of Karl Barth towards the development of modern German literature. Barth's theology as a dissenting voice with the then predominant phenomenon of Kulturprotestantism established a clear difference between divine revelation and its historic manifestations (religion, church organization). God is contradiction to all human ideas of Himself. This basic knowledge is suggested in his two major works: Letter to the Romans and the Church Dogmatics. In both there are visible similarities with expressionism, although Barth himself prefers to use literature of the 19th century for his argumentation. Barth wasn't famous for reception of modern literature. However, Barth's work became inspiration for Swiss countryman, writer Friedrich Dürrenmatt. Towards the end of his life, Barth launched a friendly correspondence with Carl Zuckmayer. That was during the time, where Barth was searching in so called human theology for a new explanation of God-Man relation, this time with respect to the Man.Institute of Germanic StudiesÚstav germánských studiíFilozofická fakultaFaculty of Art
Optimisation of the PointPillars network for 3D object detection in point clouds
In this paper we present our research on the optimisation of a deep neural
network for 3D object detection in a point cloud. Techniques like quantisation
and pruning available in the Brevitas and PyTorch tools were used. We performed
the experiments for the PointPillars network, which offers a reasonable
compromise between detection accuracy and calculation complexity. The aim of
this work was to propose a variant of the network which we will ultimately
implement in an FPGA device. This will allow for real-time LiDAR data
processing with low energy consumption. The obtained results indicate that even
a significant quantisation from 32-bit floating point to 2-bit integer in the
main part of the algorithm, results in 5%-9% decrease of the detection
accuracy, while allowing for almost a 16-fold reduction in size of the model.Comment: 7 pages, 2 figures, submitted to SPA 2020 conferenc
