Library of high-resolution UES echelle spectra of F, G, K and M field dwarf stars
We present a library of Utrecht echelle spectrograph (UES) observations of a
sample of F, G, K and M field dwarf stars covering the spectral range from 4800
AA to 10600 AA with a resolution of 55000. These spectra include some of the
spectral lines most widely used as optical and near-infrared indicators of
chromospheric activity such as H_beta, Mg I b triplet, Na I D_1, D_2, He I D_3,
H_alpha, and Ca II IRT lines, as well as a large number of photospheric lines
which can also be affected by chromospheric activity. The spectra have been
compiled with the aim of providing a set of standards observed at
high-resolution to be used in the application of the spectral subtraction
technique to obtain the active-chromosphere contribution to these lines in
chromospherically active single and binary stars. This library can also be used
for spectral classification purposes. A digital version with all the spectra is

Multiwavelength optical observations of chromospherically active binary systems V. FF UMa (2RE J0933+624): a system with orbital period variation
This is the fifth paper in a series aimed at studying the chromospheres of
active binary systems using several optical spectroscopic indicators to obtain
or improve orbital solution and fundamental stellar parameters. We present here
the study of FF UMa (2RE J0933+624), a recently discovered, X-ray/EUV selected,
active binary with strong H_alpha emission. The objectives of this work are, to
find orbital solutions and define stellar parameters from precise radial
velocities and carry out an extensive study of the optical indicators of
chromospheric activity. We obtained high resolution echelle spectroscopic
observations during five observing runs from 1998 to 2004. We found radial
velocities by cross correlation with radial velocity standard stars to achieve
the best orbital solution. We also measured rotational velocity by
cross-correlation techniques and have studied the kinematic by galactic space-
velocity components (U, V, W) and Eggen criteria. Finally, we have determined
the chromospheric contribution in optical spectroscopic indicators, from Ca II
H & K to Ca II IRT lines, using the spectral subtraction technique. We have
found that this system presents an orbital period variation, higher than
previously detected in other RS CVn systems. We determined an improved orbital
solution, finding a circular orbit with a period of 3.274 days. We derived the
stellar parameters, confirming the subgiant nature of the primary component and
obtained rotational velocities (vsini), of 33.57 km/s and 32.38 km/s for the
primary and secondary components respectively. From our kinematic study, we can
deduce its membership to the Castor moving group. Finally, the activity study
has given us a better understanding of the possible mechanisms that produce the

Corporate e-communication: its relationship with the corporate logo in the construction of digital interaction platforms
Purpose â The purpose of this article is to examine the influence of the corporate logo on the consumerâs attitude within corporate e-communication.
Design/methodology/approach â This research designed a model and a number of hypotheses, based on previous studies on corporate logo, its antecedents on e-communication, corporate image and corporate reputation. Online survey was conducted consumers and followers of the shopping social networking platforms (Facebook and Twitter) in from Colombia.
Findings â Taking into account previous corporate constructs theories, the author proposes a new conceptual framework to explain how corporate e-communication interacts within an organisationâs structure, and also to show that the consumerâs interaction in corporate e-communication platforms is based on the corporate logo perception held by consumers; as a consequence, the corporate reputation is affected.
Originality/value â This study contributes on the understanding and expansion of the organisationâs structure by introducing a new corporate construct, named âcorporate e-communicationâ, defined as the digital interaction than an organisation has with its stakeholders, it involves everything it says, shows and does. However, there are a few other areas of concern with regard to consequences related to corporate image and corporate reputation, particularly in Colombian retail setting

A multi-criteria approach to building resilient neighborhoods through green space investments in Sacramento
The consequences of climate change and urbanization have increased heat, air pollution, and flood risks in urban areas. Green spacesâparks, trees, trails, and gardensâare multifunctional solutions that help communities adapt to these various climate vulnerabilities, promoting urban resiliency through the socio-ecological service they provide. Yet, low-income communities and neighborhoods of color are often deprived of these services. As a result, this study utilizes a multi-criteria analysis to assess a variety of social, climate, and green space indicators in North and South Sacramento, two racially diverse and historically marginalized communities, to recommend more robust green space implementation strategies. Priority areas are identified along the northeastern and eastern edge of North Sacramento and within the central area and eastern boundary of South Sacramento, concluding that both communities could benefit from the additional park and tree investments to meet the area\u27s unique climate needs. Recommendations to maximize green space benefits include: 1) considering multifunctionality in all green space implementation projects 2) further assessing priority areas to identify appropriate locations for future green spaces 3) effectively and equitably engaging with community stakeholders 4) utilizing GIS to better integrate both social equity and climate data 5) consider environmental justice concerns and basic needs of the communities 6) designing green spaces to meet the unique climate and social needs of the areas. These recommendations will serve as a model to direct City of Sacramento decision-makers and planners to consider social and ecological variables in future green space projects in North and South Sacramento
