    The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work conflict, communication and work environment on employee performance at the transportation company PT Bengawan Solo Trans. This research method is quantitative. The type of data used in this research is primary data. Primary data used in this study were obtained from answers to questionnaires given by each respondent, namely all employees of PT Batik Solo Trans Surakarta.  The population in this study were all drivers at PT Batik Solo Trans Surakarta, totaling 138 people. Sampling was done by meeting the driver and asking for his willingness to fill out a questionnaire. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling or total sampling. So, all members of the population were sampled, namely 138 drivers. The data analysis technique was carried out with the help of the SPSS for Windows computer program. The results of this study are that work conflict has a negative and significant effect on employee performance of PT BST Surakarta. Communication has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT BST Surakarta. Work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT BST Surakarta. Work conflict, communication, and work environment together have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. BST Surakarta

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi terhadap minat partisipasi masyarakat pada event-event tahunan di Surakarta. Sampel penelitian sebesar 60 responden yang merupakan warga Surakarta. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial bauran promosi yang meliputi periklanan, personal selling, promosi penjualan, dan publisitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat partisipasi masyarakat pada event-event tahunan di Surakarta. Secara simultan periklanan, personal selling, promosi penjualan dan publisitas juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat partisipasi masyarakat pada event-event tahunan di Surakarta

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of competence, job satisfaction, and work experience on the performance of employees of PT Batik Solo Trans Surakarta. This research method is quantitative. The population in this study were all drivers at PT Batik Solo Trans Surakarta, totaling 138 people.     Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh analisis jabatan terhadap pencapaian kinerja organisasi baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Populasi karyawan Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta adalah 1108 orang, dengan sampel berjumlah sebanyak 100 orang responden dalam teori sudah mencukupi untuk penelitian. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Job Description berpengaruh signifikan secara negatif terhadap Kinerja Output, (2) Job Description mempunyai pengaruh yang positive terhadap Kinerja Proses, (3) Job Spesification mempunyai pengaruh yang positive terhadap Kinerja Output, (4)Job Spesification tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja proses, (5) Kinerja Proses memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Output. Berdasarkan analisis jalur menunjukkan bahwa: (1)Job Description berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap Kinerja Output, (2) Job Spesification yang berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap Kinerja Output

    This research aims to analyze the influence of promotion mix on people’s interest in annual events in Solo. This research involves totally 60 respondents, in which they are Solo citizens. The primary data is obtained through questionnaires method. Hereinafter, it utilizes hypothesis test, multiple linear regressions, t test, and F test. The outcomes of this research shows that partially, the promotion mix including advertising, personal selling, marketing promotion, and publication significantly influence on participation interest in the annual events in Solo. Simultaneously, the advertising, personal selling, marketing promotion, and publication also influence people's interest to participate annual events in Solo significantly. The four variables bear totally 48.8% on the people’s interest to participate annual events in Solo, while the other 51.2% influenced by the other factors.     BMT is one service industry that offers products according to the needs of sharia. In order to maintain Sharia cooperatives, innovation is needed, such as product innovation, human resources, or improving the community's understanding of Sharia cooperatives. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with research location in BMT Muara Utama. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Data analysis using qualitative interoretation and SWOT method. The results show that product development innovation in BMT Muara Utama has not been done yet, and still follow the products like other sharia cooperatives. Currently, HRD Innovation in BMT Muara Utama Kartasura is conducted, by conducting training for employees and motivating employees to continue their studies in universities. Innovation BMT Muara Utama Kartasura in improving public understanding of Sharia cooperative done by way of promotion and socialization by working together at government institution (kalurahan / desa). The development of BMT Muara Utama Kartasura is based on SWOT analysis, namely: (1) Strenght on human resource innovation and giving understanding to the community about sharia cooperative; (2) Weaknesses on musyarakah product ie partners do not give financial report to BMT Muara Utama, (3) Opportunities , development opportunities of BMT Muara supported by SDI innovation and innovation giving understanding to society about sharia cooperative, (4) Threats, biggest threat BMT Muara Utama is BMT on same product with other BMT

    Persaingan bisnis semakin ketat pada saat ini dan salah satu bisnis yang menjanjikan adalah bisnis waralaba. Bisnis waralaba merupakan bisnis usaha menjalin kerjasama merek dengan perusahaan/pelaku usaha yang sudah memiliki nama untuk menggunakan merek dagang, pemasaran, dan operasional yang sudah mapan dan dikenal luas. Dalam bisnis waralaba mengenal bentuk promosi dan bauran promosi yaitu promotional mix. Penelitian ini membahas promotional mix perpaduan dan merupakan variabel independen antara advertising/periklanan (X1), personal selling/tenaga penjualan(X2), publicity/publisitas (X3), dan sales promotion/promosi penjualan (X4) dengan variabel dependen keputusan pembelian konsumen (Y) pada Restoran kenthucky fried chicken (KFC). Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pemilihan responden accidental sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara dimana penelitian bertempatkan di Restoran KFC plaza Singosaren Solo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen mempunyai pengaruh signifikan ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t yaitu advertising (X1) sebesar 2,564, personal selling (X2) sebesar 3,030, publicity (X3) sebesar 4,894 dan sales promotion (X4) sebesar 2,679. Demikian variabel publicity (X3) mempunyai pengaruh yang paling dominan dengan nilai 4,894 dalam mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen Restoran Kenthucky fried chicken (KFC)

    The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of leadership style variables and organizational commitment variable on employee performance. This type of research is quantitative research with Likert scale. This study used 85 respondents from 110 employees with sampling technique using purposive sampling method. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis test with t test indicated that each independent variable have positive and significant effect to employee performance. The last test with determinant test (R2), shows the result of R2 equal to 0.379. This shows the leadership style variables and organizational commitment contributes to employee performance of 37.90% and the rest is explained by other variables outside the model

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the value of the company at the companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Factors affecting the value of the company in this study are profitability, debt policy and dividend policy on firm value. The sample in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Stock Exchange 2010-2012. This study used purposive sampling method. Source data were obtained from published financial statements of the company by the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2010-2012, with a sample size of 30 manufacturing companies. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that only profitability significantly and positively related to firm value, while debt policy and dividend policy has no significant effect on firm value

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah tingkat harga, kualitas produk, model, promosi akan mempengaruhi keputusan Mahasiswa dalam pembelian Helm INK. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan ini bermanfaat untuk mengetahui faktor apa yang paling dominan diantara fariabel diatas dalam keputusan pembelian helm merk INK dikalangan mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis UMS. Alat analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah chi square. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Adapun sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 100 mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa jenis kelamin, umur, lama menjadi konsumen, jumlah uang saku perbulan mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan terhadap tingkat harga, kualitas produk, model, promosi, dan keputusan pembelian dalam membentuk keputusan pembelian helm INK dengan 2hitung > 2tabel . Hasil selisih antara nilai C Max dengan koefisien kontingensi menunjukkan bahwa antara umur dan kualitas produk memiliki selisih paling kecil dibandingkan dengan variabel yang lain, yaitu dengan nilai 0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa umur dan kualitas produk paling dominan yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam melakukan keputusan pembelian terhadap helm INK
