Lecturas del miedo y control social en la teoría sociocrítica y posmoderna

The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of fear of social threats. According to the authors, fear in the history of society played a fundamental role in the legitimization of political and social systems, which were seen as the embodiment of the power to protect people and communities from various dangers that threaten them. Hence, fear is also a force that encourages the use of formal and informal means of social control to strengthen discipline in society and punish when necessary. The purpose of the article is to consider various interpretations of the binomial: fear and social control in the field of law, critical theory of society, post-structuralist concept of Michel Foucault and the shock doctrine.Стаття присвячена дослідженню феномена страху перед соціальними загрозами. На думку авторів, страх в історії суспільства виконує фундаментальну роль в легітимації політичних і соціальних систем, які представляються втіленням сили щодо захисту людей і співтовариств від різних небезпек, які їм загрожують. Отже, страх також є силою, яка заохочує використання формальних і неформальних засобів соціального контролю для зміцнення дисципліни у суспільстві та покарання в разі потреби. Мета статті - розгляд різних тлумачень бинома: страх і соціальний контроль у сфері права, критична теорія суспільства, постструктураліська концепція Мішеля Фуко та доктрина шоку.Статья посвящена исследованию феномена страха перед социальными угрозами. Глобальні цілі сталого розвитку: кейси для ухвалення управлінських рішень

Запропоновані кейси поєднують у собі декілька цілей під час проведення тренінгів зі сталого розвитку: навчають структурувати інформацію і розуміти зміст окремих Цілей сталого розвитку; формують вміння визначати можливі наслідки та виявляти можливі перешкоди в досягненні Цілей сталого розвитку; показують можливості оптимального вибору та способи досягнення цілей в умовах множинності варіантів рішення. Ситуаційні вправи в поєднанні з теоретичним матеріалом, що викладається в межах тренінгу, можуть використовуватися у трьох основних напрямках: використання на початку заняття з певної Цілі сталого розвитку дозволить ознайомитися з питаннями та проблемами, які пропонується розглянути в теоретичному матеріалі; використання в кінці теоретичної частини дасть змогу зрозуміти, як можна використовувати розглянуті теоретичні моделі та підходи до розв’язання конкретних проблем; протягом всього тренінгу пояснювати проблеми, що виникають у процесі досягнення Цілей сталого розвитку, на прикладі конкретних ситуаційних вправ.Предложенные кейсы сочетают в себе несколько целей при проведении тренингов по устойчивому развитию: обучают структурировать информацию и понимать смысл отдельных Целей устойчивого развития; формируют умение определять возможные последствия и выявлять возможные препятствия в достижении Целей устойчивого развития; показывают возможности оптимального выбора и способы достижения целей в условиях множественности вариантов решения. Ситуационные упражнения в сочетании с теоретическим материалом, который излагается в рамках тренинга, могут использоваться в трех основных направлениях: использование в начале занятия по определенной Цели устойчивого развития позволит ознакомиться с вопросами и проблемами, которые предлагается рассмотреть в теоретическом материале; использование в конце теоретической части позволит понять, как можно использовать рассмотренные теоретические модели и подходы к решению конкретных проблем; в течение всего тренинга объяснять проблемы, возникающие в процессе достижения Целей устойчивого развития, на примере конкретных ситуационных упражнений.The proposed cases combine several goals during sustainable development training: teach to structure information and understand the content of Sustainable Development Goals; form the ability to identify possible consequences and obstacles to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals; show the possibilities of optimal choice and ways to achieve goals in terms of multiple solutions. Towards Sustainable Development through Higher Education Quality Assurance

This study aims to identify the role of higher education quality assurance in achieving sustainable development goals. To support this aim, the following objectives were formulated: to discuss and summarize the best practices of QA agencies in promoting SDGs, to identify how Ukrainian universities consider SDGs in their policies, to develop recommendations for internal, and external quality assurance systems regarding SDG achievement. This qualitative study is based on a case study, observation, and questionnaire methods. Ukrainian higher education quality assurance systems are taken as a case study for this article. Primary data are collected through an online questionnaire and observation of Ukrainian universities’ publicly available information regarding sustainable development activities at their official websites. Additionally, some publicly available documents, reports, and materials on the experience of foreign quality assurance agencies are also reviewed, compared, and contrasted. The results of the research can be used at national levels where higher education standards should include competence in sustainable development goals, at institutional level to improve HEIs’ quality assurance system, and at the study program level to include SDG consideration as one of the requirements during internal quality assurance procedures

The achievement of the country’s sustainable development in the conditions of global threats

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development stipulates the need for economical use of natural resources and the introduction of green technologies to ensure the harmonious reconciliation of economic, social, and environmental development. However, the problems associated with the definition of the country’s sustainable development in conditions of global threats are far from being solved and require further theoretical efforts. So,the purpose of the article is to form a methodological approach to define the country’s sustainable development in conditions of global threats. The methods used in this study are the comparative and statistical analysis , the systematic approach – in creating the mechanism of ensuring the sustainable development of the world in conditions of global challenges. The analysis results show that the methodological approach allows assessing the country’s sustainable development considering global threats, which, in turn, policy adjustments to strengthen sustainable development in global crises. This study concludes that globalization’s process causes various changes; the positive or negative vector of these changes largely depends on the level of sustainable development of the country and the country’s position in the world economy. The higher the country’s sustainable development indicators, the more positive effects of globalization the state receives

”Green” economy: from global concept to reality of local development

The publication was carried out on the initiative and assistance of the Project “Green Decisions of Business - Unity for Sustainable Development”, which is implemented by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Organization of Employers, in partnership with the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, the Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency with the support of the Program for the Promotion of Green Modernization of the Ukrainian Economy, implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH. The monograph is devoted to the study of various aspects of the development of the "green" economy both globally and locally. The theoretical foundations of the development of the "green" economy, the features of the functioning of the markets for "green" goods and services, the world experience in the development of the "green" economy, the prospects for the development of the "green" economy at the local and regional level are substantiated.
