Deformation and rigidity results for the 2k-Ricci tensor and the 2k-Gauss-Bonnet curvature

We present several deformation and rigidity results within the classes of closed Riemannian manifolds which either are $2k$-Einstein (in the sense that their $2k$-Ricci tensor is constant) or have constant $2k$-Gauss-Bonnet curvature. The results hold for a family of manifolds containing all non-flat space forms and the main ingredients in the proofs are explicit formulae for the linearizations of the above invariants obtained by means of the formalism of double forms.Comment: 30 pages; no figure

Clarice Lispector e Macedonio Fernández: poéticas do inacabado

IX Congresso Brasileiro de Hispanistas realizado nos dias 22 a 25 agosto 2016Neste estudo pretendemos aproximar a obra da escritora brasileira Clarice Lispector (19201977) e do escritor argentino Macedonio Fernández (18741956). Ainda que esses dois escritores estejam afastados por uma série de questões como nacionalidade, estilo, preocupações estéticas, há, ao menos, um aspecto central em suas escrituras que os aproxima e permite um diálogo que pode ampliar a leitura que fazemos das obras de cada um. Esse aspecto diz respeito ao exercício de escrita que se constrói por meio do inacabado. Tanto em Museu do Romance da eterna (1967), como em A paixão segundo G.H. (1964), como também em outros textos, observamos a abertura, o inacabado e a ausência de verdades dogmáticas como aspectos que permitem aproximar esses dois escritores latinoamericanos. Além disso, essa poética do inacabado possibilita pensar essas escrituras como essencialmente trágicas, na esteira de Nietzsche, já que o inacabado pode ser lido como um modo de invenção afirmativa deste mundo aqui e agora, em sua precariedade, em sua incompletude, em sua efemeridade, o que revela nesses escritores um pensamento trágico que pretende, sobretudo, a afirmação irrestrita e alegre da existênciaUNILA­-UNIOEST

An instance of the MIKADO migration model

In this document, we briefly describe the main contribution to the deliverable on experimenting with the implementation of most of the calculi considered in the project. First, we describe how two well known calculi for mobile processes KLAIM and Dπ have been implemented on the top of IMC. We then describe the implementation of the MiKO programming language, an instance of the parametric calculus introduced in the WP1 with the TyCO calculus as the content of the membrane itself. After this, we outline the description of the implementation of the abstract machine for an instance of the Kell Calculus that dedicates particular attention to the proof of its correctness. Our presentation ends with a discussion of the problem of implementing security membranes on the top of an execution platform
