    THE PROBLEM OF CORRUPTION OF BASIC SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATIONS IN PARTICULAR: FORMAL-ETHIC AND ECONOMIC ASPECTS

    The aim of the paper is to carry out historical-philosophical andlinguistic analysis of ethical and metaphysical doctrine of Aristotle on corruptionΒ in general; to discuss of formal-ethical view on the problem of corruption in basicΒ scientific researches; to define the place and role of fundamental scientific researchesΒ in knowledge-based economy taken as a whole, and Boston Chart, inΒ particular.Methods. The methods involve the historical-philosophical and logical-linguisticΒ analysis of texts; creation and studying of the elementary discrete mathematicalΒ model of the researched moral phenomenon at the level of artificial languageΒ of two-digit algebra of the natural right and morals; use of such conceptualΒ and figurative tool of the economic theory as Boston Chart.Results and scientific novelty. The definition of the concept Β«basic scientificΒ researchΒ» is given for the first time; the concept includes time parameter andΒ knowledge of utility (the practical importance) of results of this research.Practical significance. The submitted definition (criterion) gives a possibilityΒ to establish at any moment of time definite borderline between the basic and theΒ applied scientific search (the line undergoes change in the flow of time). The effectiveΒ criterion of basic scientific researches offered by the author, and also exactΒ specifying of their place and role in lifecycle of knowledge as goods in marketΒ economy (at the conceptual level of the Boston Chart) allow to designate an urgentΒ problem of corruption of the scientific sphere in a new perspective.     A Logically Formalized Axiomatic Epistemology System Ξ£ + c and Philosophical Grounding Mathematics as a Self-Sufficing System

    The subject matter of this research is Kant’s apriorism underlying Hilbert’s formalism in the philosophical grounding of mathematics as a self-sufficing system. The research aim is the in-vention of such a logically formalized axiomatic epistemology system, in which it is possible to con-struct formal deductive inferences of formulaeβ€”modeling the formalism ideal of Hilbertβ€”from the assumption of Kant’s apriorism in relation to mathematical knowledge. The research method is hy-pothetical–deductive (axiomatic). The research results and their scientific novelty are based on a logically formalized axiomatic system of epistemology called Ξ£ + C, constructed here for the first time. In comparison with the already published formal epistemology systems X and Ξ£, some of the axiom schemes here are generalized in Ξ£ + C, and a new symbol is included in the object-language alphabet of Ξ£ + C, namely, the symbol representing the perfection modality, C: β€œit is consistent that…”. The meaning of this modality is defined by the system of axiom schemes of Ξ£ + C. A deductive proof of the consistency of Ξ£ + C is submitted. For the first time, by means of Ξ£ + C, it is deduc-tively demonstrated that, from the conjunction of Ξ£ + C and either the first or second version of GΓΆdel’s theorem of incompleteness of a formal arithmetic system, the formal arithmetic investigated by GΓΆdel is a representation of an empirical knowledge system. The paper demonstrates that in the submitted unusual interpretation, all Kant’s statements relevant to the theme are true; consequently, a model of the doctrine under discussion exists; consequently, in spite of the widespread opinion, the doctrine in question is logically consistent. For constructing an adequate discrete mathematical model of Kant’s doctrine of impossibility of cognition of β€œthing’s-being-in-itself”, an evaluation-function β€œbeing-ofs-in-w” is introduced and precisely defined in algebra of metaphysics as formal axiology. In that algebra the notion β€œmetaphysical law (=law of metaphysics)” is defined by means of the notion β€œidentically-good evaluationfunction”. In this meaning of the term the metaphysical law of necessity of inconsistency in thinking about noncognizable being-of-things-in-them-selves is demonstrated by accurate β€œcomputing” relevant evaluation tables

The method applied is discrete mathematical modelling: the categories of β€œbeing”, β€œnonbeing”, β€œpermitting”, β€œkilling”, β€œsuicide”, β€œGod”, β€œfaith”, β€œhope”, β€œlove”, and others are defined and studied as evaluation-functions determined by a finite number of evaluationvariables. The article demonstrates the effectiveness of the generalized linguistic principle of compositionality when applied to the language of morality and religion. Thus, it is shown that semantics of the language of culture is in fact not formal-logical (truth-functional) but formal-axiological (value-functional)

    A formal-axiological equivalence of the rationalistic and sensualistic criteria of existence in two-valued algebra of metaphysics (A discrete mathematical simulation of evaluative aspect of the rationalistic and sensualistic doctrines of existence, non-contradiction and sensual perception of material things)

    The paper is investigating philosophical notions "feeling", "matter", "being", "knowledge", "universality", "infiniteness" and other as evaluation-functions determined by two evaluation-variables in two-valued algebra of metaphysics, which is understood as nothing but formal axiology. The evaluation functions under investigation are precisely defined by evaluation tables. Strict definitions of the notions "formal-axiological equivalence" and "law of algebra of metaphysics" are given. By means of these definitions a list of equations and laws of the algebra is generated. Elements of this list are connected with the relevant aspects of the history of philosophy. The paper submits precise formulations and tabular substantiations of laws of contraposition of the binary operations "knowledge", "universality" and "infiniteness" in two-valued algebra of metaphysics.
