El Cuerpo Habla, an Artistic Proposal for Life

RESUMEN: El presente texto se propone hacer un breve recorrido por el trabajo realizado al interior del Colectivo Artístico El Cuerpo Habla, desde su inicio como taller complementario en la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Antioquia en 2003, hasta convertirse en proyecto de investigación, para transformarse en lo que ahora es: un colectivo artístico interdisciplinar que propende por el trabajo grupal, la práctica de una manifestación artística de tan amplio espectro como la performance, y cuyos ejes temáticos transversales son el devenir, la resistencia, la noción de ritual ligada a la acción performática y la resignificación de la palabra “cuerpo” para acaecer carne.ABSTRACT: This paper intends to give a brief tour of the work carried out by the artistic collective El Cuerpo Habla from its beginning as a complementary workshop at the Faculty of Arts of the Universidad de Antioquia in 2003 through what it is now: an interdisciplinary artistic collective that aims for group work, the practice of an artistic manifestation as broad spectrum as performance art, and whose thematic axes are becoming, resistance, the notion of ritual linked to the performative action and the redefinition of the word “body” to unfold the flesh

El cuerpo habla, una propuesta artística para la vida
