Web Application for Visual Modeling of Discrete Event Systems

    Get PDF
This research work has resulted in the development of a web application that enables discrete event systems simulation to be created using a Petri-object approach. It provides the development of a model in two stages. In the first stage, the dynamics of the classes of objects are created using Petri net. In the second stage, the model is composed of objects with given dynamics. The simulation algorithm is based on stochastic Petri net with multichannel transitions and is implemented using Ruby. The web application enables the design of the model's dynamics by manipulation with graphics objects and saving it not only as a graphics object but also as a program method. This greatly improves the overall performance of the simulation model development

QCD one-loop correction to Higgs boson decay into quarkonium-pair

Rare decays of the Higgs boson into quarkonia-pairs are studied within the framework of NRQCD approach. The main decay mechanisms and their interference are studied in detail. One-loop corrections to the widths of these decays are taken into account for the first time.Comment: Minor changes for the text. Has been accepted by Phys. Rev.

Exact Solutions of Navier–Stokes Equations for Quasi-Two-Dimensional Flows with Rayleigh Friction

To solve the problems of geophysical hydrodynamics, it is necessary to integrally take into account the unevenness of the bottom and the free boundary for a large-scale flow of a viscous incompressible fluid. The unevenness of the bottom can be taken into account by setting a new force in the Navier–Stokes equations (the Rayleigh friction force). For solving problems of geophysical hydrodynamics, the velocity field is two-dimensional. In fact, a model representation of a thin (bottom) baroclinic layer is used. Analysis of such flows leads to the redefinition of the system of equations. A compatibility condition is constructed, the fulfillment of which guarantees the existence of a nontrivial solution of the overdetermined system under consideration. A non-trivial exact solution of the overdetermined system is found in the class of Lin–Sidorov–Aristov exact solutions. In this case, the flow velocities are described by linear forms from horizontal (longitudinal) coordinates. Several variants of the pressure representation that do not contradict the form of the equation system are considered. The article presents an algebraic condition for the existence of a non-trivial exact solution with functional arbitrariness for the Lin–Sidorov–Aristov class. The isobaric and gradient flows of a viscous incompressible fluid are considered in detail. © 2023 by the authors

SOME RESULTS OF ACTIVE DETECTION OF GENITAL TUBERCULOSIS IN INFERTILE WOMEN

The article presents the results of analysis of statistics and hospital records of women of reproductive age with infertility, who were examined in 2008—2011. It was shown that after the implication of active monitoring of infertile women tubercolosis prevalence in risk group increased from 0 to 18 %

It is hard to make a conclusion about relationship between Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Bronchoobstructive Syndrome (BOS) in the postcovid period based on the literature. The aim. To determine the optimal treatment approaches by conducting a comprehensive assessment of clinical, laboratory and functional parameters, taking into account the risk factors for the development of BOS.Methods. 10,456 patients with Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) were examined, and 7,459 patients were randomized into 2 groups with a newly diagnosed BOS. Group 1 (n = 3,245) was prescribed beclomethasone/formoterol (BDP/FORM) as Maintenance And Reliever Therapy (MART). Group 2 (n = 4,252) was prescribed budesonide suspension (BUD) and salbutamol solution (SAL). The study assessed severity of COVID-19, presence of atopy and frequency of acute respiratory viral infections (SARS) in the medical history, spirometric parameters, blood eosinophils, Asthma Control Questionnaire-5 (ACQ-5) score, use of pro re nata medications, and adverse events.Results. Patients who had mild COVID-19 were diagnosed with BOS at weeks 8 – 24 (73.3%), while patients with moderate or severe COVID-19 were diagnosed at week 4 (54.9%). Virus-induced BOS (VI BOS) was diagnosed in 71.8% of the cases. 13% of the patients with BOS in postcovid period were diagnosed with asthma.Conclusion. The incidence of BOS is significantly higher in patients with atopy and history of frequent SARS who had moderate or severe COVID-19. A fixed combination of extrafine BDP/FORM as MART was superior to nebulized BUD + SALM in the treatment of VI BOS.
