Nauka o szkole najlepszą drogą ku nowej jakości edukacji

Z wprowadzenia: "Studium monograficzne Nauka o szkole przedstawia zarys koncepcji scholiologii. Pojęcie to oznacza nową dziedzinę nauki, a zarazem wiedzy o teoretycznych i praktycznych zagadnieniach działalności szkoły. Proponowana w poprzedniej pracy monograficznej nazwa scholiologia powstała z połączenia dwóch greckich słów scholijo- szkoła i logos - nauka, pojęcie, słowo [Kuźma, 2001, s. 244]. Zgodnie ze wstępnym założeniem, przedmiotem scholiologii miały być „badania działalności szkoły jako instytucji społecznej, jej systemu organizacyjnego, funkcji i programów dydaktycznych, wychowawczych i kulturalnych w trzech wymiarach czasowych: przeszłości, teraźniejszości i przyszłości" [Kuźma, 2005; idem 2006]. Niejako z założenia jest to kompleksowa dziedzina wiedzy i nauki, interdyscyplinarna, wielofunkcyjna i polimetodyczna. Jest to podejście skoncentrowane na szkole [Kuźma, 2005; idem, 2006]."(...

Rola architektury we współczesnej i przyszłej szkole

Schools, not only in Poland but also in many other countries, have to undergo thorough changes in respect to quality. Changes in the school of the future can be started by scientists representing various disciplines, understanding the need of its multistage and multidirectional qualitative changes, who shall, in this way, pay back the debt they made at respective educational levels. Therefore, there is a need for such scientists to develop the interdisciplinary school studies, that is scholiology. One of the chapters of the Science of School (Kuźma 2011: 243–256) was devoted to the role of architecture in the contemporary and future school. Concluding my article I say that in the architectural space of school, thanks to the architect` s imagination, spirit meets matter and students are given an opportunity to experience art which directly affects their aesthetical education and development of spatial imagination. This refl ection is the leitmotif of the present article

Seniorzy zaczynają dokonywać bilansu swojego życia, ważą swoje osiągnięcia i porażki. Innymi słowy, zaczynają filozofować. Niektórych zaś ludzi śmierć zaskakuje znienacka, zanim zdążą się zastanawiać nad tymi filozoficznymi kwestiami. Większość ludzi być może nigdy sobie nie odpowie na te ważne pytania związane z jakością życia. Na jakość życia składająsię wszystkie jego etapy."(...

The Role of Architecture in the Contemporary and Future School
