Práce obsahuje teoretický úvod, ve kterém jsou popsány různé typy senzorů, měření teploty, Ethernet a návrh systému a výběr součástek. Praktická část je zaměřená na realizaci systému, popis programu a odesílání změřených hodnot po síti Ethernet.The main topic of the presented thesis is temperature monitoring via Ethernet. This thesis contains theoretical part, in which are described different types of sensors, temperature measurement, Ethernet, and system design and the selection of components. The practical part is focused on the implementation of the system, a description of the program and sending the measured values via Ethernet.

Is Vitamin D the New Antidepressant?

Depression is characterized by a depressed mood or loss of interest or pleasure in almost all daily activities for a period of at least two weeks. Depression is a common mental disorder, characterized by feeling blue, and disturbed appetite, sleeping disturbances, poor concentration and loss of interest in daily activities (WHO, 2011). There are many systematic reviews studies of Vitamin D and depression have formed reliable results and generally have had strong methodological. Recent findings from a randomized trial propose that high doses of supplemental Vitamin D may improve depressive symptoms. Overall, the summary estimates of all analyses propose a correlation between Vitamin D and depression. It point out that quality of evidence from each study is high. The observational studies to date offer some evidence for an association between Vitamin D deficiency and depression, but RCTs are immediately wanted to conclude whether Vitamin D can prevent and treat depression in longitudinal study. Family-Based Treatment of Adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia nervosa (AN) is a serious and potentially fatal mental illness; it has intense influence on the lives of many individuals and their families (Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorder [ANAD], 2013). Anorexia nervosa continues to affect people, particularly women from all around the world. The spread of western standards of beauty have made this a common disease in other parts of the world as well, where previously anorexia was not prevalent. The concept of anorexia nervosa describes itself. It is identified as loss of appetite due to nervous reasons (Grange & Eisler, 2009). However, AN burdens individuals with an unyielding obsession with weight loss and food restriction, eventually leading to extreme emaciation and even death. This obsession can lead to very perfectionism outlook towards body and body image, with the result that the patient may start to starve him or herself in orders to stay slim (Goldenberg, 2008). According to the American Psychiatric Association (APA, 2012), AN is an eating disorder characterized by achieving a low body weight and distorted body image intentionally. Knows about anorexic patients that they control their weight by starving themselves, exercise excessively, or other means of weight control, such as diet pills, diuretic drugs, and ingestion paper tissues (Gardner & Wilkinson, 2011). Further, Anorexia nervosa is a disorder arising most commonly in adolescence, AN which primarily affects adolescent girls and young women between 15 and 22 years (Grange & Eisler, 2009). Few studies were conducted in Jordan about anorexia nervosa and family treatment, where there is less reporting about such eating disorder from patients and their families, in Jordan, there are no specialized centers to deal with such eating disorder. At the National Center for Mental Health there is no clear policy or integrated treatment plan to deal with this group of patients where the parents are ignored in the treatment plan where they have the greatest role in the treatment plan and deviate pressures and negative aspects that contribute to the worsening of the disease. So, the aim of this paper is to provide a general understanding of full picture about the role of family treatment in anorexia nervosa and to examine these adolescent studies more closely and put family-based treatment forward as a promising approach for this patient population, and this paper will remark the significance and strengths of family therapy for the treatment of adolescents with anorexia, In order to achieve that, this paper will define family treatment strategies, Family based treatment,  and corroborative evidences and contrary evidences. Finally, the paper will provide proposed recommendations for Jordanian psychiatric nurses based on the available scientific evidences about the effectiveness family treatment to manage and deal with anorexia nervosa. AN is a serious disorder affecting both psychological and physical health (Lock et al., 2010). Anorexic patients habitually have low self-confidence, extreme dislike their body and frustrated (Smink, Hoeken, & Hoek, 2012). Anorexics often set unrealistic goals and feel enormous guilt when they fail to accomplish those goals (Cooper, 2005). Anorexia leads to impair the brain and nerves (ANAD, 2013). Anorexics are embarrassments or suffer from poor judgment; they are often sad, irritable, depressed, and moody (APA, 2012). Anorexia nervosa may become one of the chronic diseases that lead to death in world widely among adolescents girls in developed countries (ANAD, 2013). Anorexia nervosa has bad consequences physically; for illustration, hypotension, bradycardia, heart failure, weakness in the muscles, anemic, and severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance (ANAD, 2013; Nathalie et al., 2012). Furthermore, women may irregular menstruating or amenorrhea and sexual dysfunction. Anorexics risky for seizures, immunity diseases, depression, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, anxiety, and substance abuse (ANAD, 2013; APA, 2012; Nathalie et al., 2012). Sociocultural factors play vital role in development of AN in psychologically vulnerable adolescent females (Imran & Ashraf, 2008).The cultural variations have led to a wide spread adoption of western styles, habits, and attitudes. These variations include a shift in the lifestyle from active to sedentary and in the eating patterns which are changed to fast food (Imran & Ashraf, 2008; Wozniak, Rekleiti, & Roupa, 2012)

Chaotic Lattice - Gas Model

A nonuniform system is considered consisting of two phases with different densities of particles. At each given time the distribution of the phases in space is chaotic: each phase filling a set of regions with random shapes and locations. A chaotic diffusion process intermixes these regions by varying their shapes and locations in a random way. To investigate the statistical properties of such a system, it is exemplified by a lattice-gas model. Krein-unitary Schrieffer-Wolff transformation and band touchings in bosonic Bogoliubov-de Gennes and other Krein-Hermitian Hamiltonians

Krein-Hermitian Hamiltonians, i.e., Hamiltonians Hermitian with respect to an indefinite inner product, have emerged as an important class of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians in physics, encompassing both single-particle bosonic Bogoliubov-de Gennes (BdG) Hamiltonians and so-called "$PT$-symmetric" non-Hermitian Hamiltonians. In particular, they have attracted considerable scrutiny owing to the recent surge in interest for boson topology. Motivated by these developments, we formulate a perturbative Krein-unitary Schrieffer-Wolff transformation for finite-size dynamically stable Krein-Hermitian Hamiltonians, yielding an effective Hamiltonian for a subspace of interest. The effective Hamiltonian is Krein Hermitian and, for sufficiently small perturbations, also dynamically stable. As an application, we use this transformation to justify codimension-based analyses of band touchings in bosonic BdG Hamiltonians, which complement topological characterization. We use this simple approach based on symmetry and codimension to revisit known topological magnon band touchings in several materials of recent interest.Comment: Updated to published version. Forecasting future economic growth : the term structure of interest rates, volatility and inflation as leading indicators

Steeper slopes presage increasing growth, and downward sloping term structures presage declining growth or even recession. Some instances of slope's misleading signals were recorded in 2006 (the term structure was flat, indicating decline in economic activity when high growth continued) and 2008 (the term structure was very steep, predicting economic growth when recession continued and took a deep dive). Moreover, Breeden (2012a) showed that the term structure of interest rates has had less predictive power over the past fifty years than has been found in earlier researches over shorter periods of time. The key idea underlying this paper was to test whether the term structure of volatility and the term structure of inflation combined with the term spread could improve predictions of future economic growth compared to interest rate based forecasts with only one variable. This study finds that while the term structure spread and volatility appear to be statistically significant variables there is little evidence of improved performance compare to interest rate based forecasts with only one variable.by Maria Khait.S.M
