    This collection contains drafts of letters-to-the-editor on the topics of Arendt's "Eichmann in Jerusalem" and the Pope's inaction in the Holocaust, two offprints of articles by Kempner, an issue of a National-Socialist-era law publication, and a New York Times advertisement for an anti-Nazi demonstration (1943).Robert DavisLawyer, historian, born 1899 in Freiburg and died 1993 in Frankfurt. Kempner was a member of the U.S. prosecution staff at the war crimes trials in Nuremberg. Opposing Nazism he left Germany when Hitler came to power.
