A new direction for farm animal genetic resources
In September 2007, the International Technical Conference on Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture was held in Interlaken, Switzerland. Two important documents aiming at preventing the genetic erosion of farm animal biodiversity and promoting the sustainable use of genetic resources were adopted: The Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources and the Interlaken Declaration of Animal Genetic Resources
CITY IMAGE – AS TOURISM DESTINATION
Tourism is a competitive industry, even on a global scale. If access to a destination or attraction is too complicated, time consuming, expensive or not providing adequate capacity, even the most spectacular attraction will remain a secret to most tourists, as they will prefer competitive alternatives” (Smiths, 2003). And to continue this, it is considered that „that cultural differences and uniqueness are important if one wants cultural products to become a commercial success” (Lindenberg, 2004). When cultural tourists are looking to experiment or to improve their knowledge, the question is: “Which are the best strategies and practices to market that experience and knowledge for the cultural tourists” (Kantanen, 2005). This paper will be dedicated to presenting city tourist destinations, their marketing and market positioning, also to analyze the way in which potential customers’ perception is built and how the process can be influenced, and to analyze the way the tourist product is assembled.City, Tourism destination, Competitive advantage

DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW MASTER´S DEGREE PROGRAM BASED ON WORK LIFE REQUIREMENTS
Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Lapland UAS) started developing a new master´s degree program titled “Master of Renewing Industry” on topics related specially to twin transition and modern manufacturing technologies in spring 2021. Planning of the curriculum was based on the requirements of companies in the Northern Finland area as the contents and learning outcomes were derived from the demands of work life. The topics were constructed around modern manufacturing technologies used in the workplace taking digitalization, sustainability, and carbon neutrality into account. One major component in the curriculum is the master´s thesis where students select a development task from their work based on the themes of the degree program. Besides the professional element, the support of writing skills and written communication is continuous in the thesis process and plays an important role in student´s professional development as it increases their research abilities. As an example, from the study contents, a course titled “Industrial Production and Operations” is presented, which started in the beginning of the program in early 2022. Every study course has a designated teacher who plans, organizes, and is responsible for the successful delivery of the course, including the use of visiting lecturers and experts. Some of these visiting lectures are given by experts in the industry as the key point of all the courses is to strengthen work life orientation. This master's degree program supports lifelong learning of technical personnel in the workplace and enhances their potential to adopt the best principles of sustainability and twin transition. Article visualizations

MEASURING PROBABILITIES IN ATTRACTION VISITATION
Many rural towns and villages fail to achieve their tourism development goals because the pulling power of their attractions is not strong enough. An appropriate combination of minor attractions may be an effective means of increasing the pulling power of these destinations. This study demonstrates a method for predicting the probability of a visit to other attractions based on the visitation of one attraction. Along with other analyses, a series of 11 bivariate logistic regression analyses predicts the probability of tourists visiting the 10 other attractions if they visited a specific attraction. For example, the results indicate that a visit to Sunset Crater may be nearly 19 times more likely when Wupatki National Monument is visited. The study demonstrates that separating natural and cultural attractions, while valid for solving many research problems, is of little value in understanding the behavior of general sightseeing visitors. The results of the research method may be useful for creating a strong image for the destination, cross-marketing attractions, developing packages that sell local lodging and food service, for advertising and for developing tours
