    Demographic Factors Role in Forming Counter-productive Work Behavior of Education Personnel (Study at Private Universities in Padang City)

    This study aims to analyze demographic factors role (gender, age, education and work experience) in forming the counterproductive behavior of education personnel in Private Universities in Padang City, namely Bung Hatta University, Baiturrahmah University and Muhammadyah University. The sample in this study is the Education Personnel in 3 Private Higher Education institutions totaling 100 participant. Collecting data using a questionnaire, the method used to analyze the data is descriptive statistical analysis: Independent Sample T test and Anova test. The results showed: (1) counterproductive behavior of female education personnel tends to be higher than that of men, (2) the age range of 21-25 years is higher in counterproductive behavior than other age ranges, (3) the work period is 1-3 years higher behavior counterproductive from other work periods, (4) Diploma level education is higher in counterproductive behavior than other levels of education. In addition, it was also found that there were no counterproductive behavioral differences from gender, age, tenure and level of education. Higher Education Managers are advised to: provide opportunities and scholarships to continue their education, implement reward and punishman systems, provide training especially for young people and their work experience is still low, improve supervision and enforce discipline for all education personnel.     In tertiary institutions, the lecturer factor greatly determines the quality of education and is an important resource in educational services. Lecturers are an important component in improving the quality of education. In terms of academic development for students, lecturers have a strategic role in higher education. Based on professional considerations, lecturers are professionals who determine what is best for students. The quality of lecturers determines the development of the quality of education. The key factor that determines the strength of education is the lecturer. This study aims to examine the effect of the determinants of lecturer performance, namely leadership style, competence and job satisfaction. The number of samples in the study was 100 lecturers where the determination of the number of samples used the Slovin formula. Based on the test results found that competence has an effect on performance, leadership style and job satisfaction have no effect on performance. The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between the number of halal tourist arrivals of West Sumatra with economic growth by using the method of test and Granger cause testers Granger in the period 2000–2017. To review this written report, tourism growth is proxy with the number of tourist arrivals (LAR). While the economic consumption of income from tourism (LPAD) is utilized as a placeholder for the increase of tourism as the research. The significance of this research is the maturation of the tourism sector, which is more grievous in the hope it can contribute significantly to the economic and social development of the country in question. Further development in the tourism industry of West Sumatra as a tourist destination has put tourism industry, which knows the halal tourism industry as one of the important industry and the biggest contributor of the western Sumatra region

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi pada pegawai Dinas Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 61 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini adalah sensus sampling jenuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Measurement Model Assessment, dilanjutkan dengan Analisis Deskriptif, R square dan Structural Model Assessment. Data diolah menggunakan Smart Pls 3. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja

    Abstrak: Kecamatan Koto Tangah adalah Kecamatan yang paling padat penduduknya. Kecamatan ini memiliki jumlah penduduk  perempuan yang cukup besar. Pemberdayaan perempuan sangat penting dilakukan untuk memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan dalam mengembangkan ekonomi produktif. Pemberdayaan perempuan untuk meningkatkan akses terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga. Kegiatan pelatihan keterampilan diharapkan berdampak pada kemampuan perempuan menciptakan lapangan kerja. Melalui pelatihan keterampilan merajut,  perempuan dapat menghasilkan produk-produk rajutan yang bernilai ekonomis. Mitra yang dipilih adalah kelompok masyarakat yaitu anggota Majelis Ta’lim Masjid Al-Ikhlas di Kelurahan Dadok Tunggul Hitam Kecamatan Koto Tangah. Sebagian besar ibu-ibu yang bergabung dalam Majelis Ta’lim yang beranggotakan sebanyak 40 orang adalah ibu rumah tangga yang pada umumnya tidak bekerja dan mempunyai penghasilan yang relatif rendah. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat  telah dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan terhadap ibu-ibu anggota  Majelis Ta’lim. Pelatihan yang diberikan adalah membuat kerajinan rajutan tangan. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, para ibu-ibu sangat antusias dalam menyimak penjelasan dan peragaan dari narasumber dan melalui tayangan video. Berbagai model rajutan diajarkan sehingga akan mempermudah mereka dalam membuat berbagai macam rajutan sehingga dapat menumbuhkan semangat berwirausaha dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga.  Abstract: Koto tangah district is the most densely populated sub-district.  This sub-district has a large enough female population. empowering women is very important to have an entrepreneurial spirit in developing a productive economy. Empowering women to increase access to knowledge and skills, so as to improve family welfare. Skills training activities are expected to have an impact on women's ability to create employment. through training in knitting skills, women can produce knitted products of economic value. The partner chosen was the community group members of the al-ikhlas mosque assembly council in dadok tunggul hitam village, koto tangah district. most of the mothers who joined the ta'lim assembly with 40 members were housewives who generally did not work and had relatively low incomes. Community service  has been carried out by providing training to women members of the ta'lim assembly to develop their economy. The training provided is making hand-knitted crafts. in carrying out the activity, the mothers were very enthusiastic in listening to the explanation and demonstration from the speakers and through the video. Various knitting models are taught so that it will facilitate them in making various kinds of knits so as to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in increasing family income.

    The paradigm of public sector management has been shifted from new public management (NPM) to public value management (PVM).  Public value management focused on how to build the relationship with the society as constituent of government. Therefore, every aspect of the management, including human resources management, has to be revisited, such as job satisfaction. Thus, this study aim to investigate the relationship between Individual,  Job  and organization characteristic on Job Satisfaction in public sector organization. By using 38 respondents working in the Dinas Pariwisata Ekonomi Kreatif Pemuda dan Olahraga Kaupaten Pesisir Selatan. The hypoteses test  used quantitative analyssys mhetods through  of multiple linear regrassion.The find that individual  and job characteristic has a positive significant relationship with job satisfaction.  While Organization characteristic has not significant with job satisfaction. In addition, this finding indicate that two-factor theory partially can explain this phenomena.     Peran Literasi Keuangan dalam Meningkatkan Minat Penggunaan Mobile Banking

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peran literasi keuangan dalam meningkatkan minat penggunaan mobile banking. Sampel penelitian ini adalah dosen di berbagai Perguruan Tinggi dengan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 205 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dengan pengujian secara parsial (uji t). Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat dosen dalam menggunakan mobile banking. Implikasinya perbankan harus mengedukasi nasabah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuannya dalam meningkatkan penggunaan mobile banking
