Fermions Tunneling from Higher-Dimensional Reissner-Nordstr\"om Black Hole: Semiclassical and Beyond Semiclassical Approximation
Based on semiclassical tunneling method, we focus on charged fermions
tunneling from higher-dimensional Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m black hole. We first
simplify the Dirac equation by semiclassical approximation, and then a
semiclassical Hamilton-Jacobi equation is obtained. Using the Hamilton-Jacobi
equation, we study the Hawking temperature and fermions tunneling rate at the
event horizon of the higher-dimensional Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m black hole
spacetime. Finally, the correct entropy is calculation by the method beyond
semiclassical approximation.Comment: 7 page
Hierarchical Propagation Networks for Fake News Detection: Investigation and Exploitation
Consuming news from social media is becoming increasingly popular. However,
social media also enables the widespread of fake news. Because of its
detrimental effects brought by social media, fake news detection has attracted
increasing attention. However, the performance of detecting fake news only from
news content is generally limited as fake news pieces are written to mimic true
news. In the real world, news pieces spread through propagation networks on
social media. The news propagation networks usually involve multi-levels. In
this paper, we study the challenging problem of investigating and exploiting
news hierarchical propagation network on social media for fake news detection.
In an attempt to understand the correlations between news propagation
networks and fake news, first, we build a hierarchical propagation network from
macro-level and micro-level of fake news and true news; second, we perform a
comparative analysis of the propagation network features of linguistic,
structural and temporal perspectives between fake and real news, which
demonstrates the potential of utilizing these features to detect fake news;
third, we show the effectiveness of these propagation network features for fake
news detection. We further validate the effectiveness of these features from
feature important analysis. Altogether, this work presents a data-driven view
of hierarchical propagation network and fake news and paves the way towards a
healthier online news ecosystem.Comment: 10 page
Three Dimensional Imaging of the Nucleon and Semi-Inclusive High Energy Reactions
We present a short overview on the studies of transverse momentum dependent
parton distribution functions of the nucleon. The aim of such studies is to
provide a three dimensional imagining of the nucleon and a comprehensive
description of semi-inclusive high energy reactions. By comparing with the
theoretical framework that we have for the inclusive deep inelastic
lepton-nucleon scattering and the one-dimensional imaging of the nucleon, we
summarize what we need to do in order to construct such a comprehensive
theoretical framework for semi-inclusive processes in terms of three
dimensional gauge invariant parton distributions. After that, we present an
overview of what we have already achieved with emphasize on the theoretical
framework for semi-inclusive reactions in leading order perturbative QCD but
with leading and higher twist contributions. We summarize in particular the
results for the differential cross section and the azimuthal spin asymmetries
in terms of the gauge invariant transverse momentum dependent parton
distribution functions. We also briefly summarize the available experimental
results on semi-inclusive reactions and parameterizations of transverse
momentum dependent parton distributions extracted from them and make an outlook
for the future studies.Comment: 20 pages, 7 figure
