    Performance appraisal in the view of Islam has not been much studied by Islamic scholars, particularly who focused on the areas of management. During the time, performance parameters of the discourse in the literature of human resource management was the conventional view. The views of conventional, not necessarily in accordance with Islamic values. Most conventional literature suggests about the values of performance only oriented to the life of the world and the material itself, not for the purpose of the afterlife and spirituality. Based on the above issues, this paper aims to identify how the parameters of performance appraisal according to the Islamic view. The results of the analysis have attempted to explore the performance values in the Islamic perspective, based on the views of Muslim scholars who focused on the areas of human resource management. View of Islamic scholars also referenced from the Quran as the supreme reference source in Islam

    PURPOSES: The purpose of this research is to explore the principles of Islamic worldview from various sources of Islamic knowledge. The principles expected to be useful for developing a further model of Islamic management.  METHODS: The exploratory research is the approach of this research. The majority of data collected from various Islamic knowledge resources, among others the Qur'an, Hadith, Islamic scholars' thoughts and the research results of Islamic scholars around the world. The meta-synthesis is used to analyze the data of research.  FINDINGS: This research successfully explored the principles of Islamic worldview, among others Tawheed or monotheism; ‘ilm or science and knowledge; akhlaq or morals; ibadah or worship; and Mardhatillah or pleasure of Allah. These principles synthesized from the Qur'an, Hadith, scholarly thought and various studies of the Islamic scientists in the world. It plays a role in developing an Islamic management model.     Internet-based social media has become a part of life of the public society in this era. Many people use Facebook, Whatsapp, LinkedIn, Blogs and other social media to interact to each other. With social media, people exchange information and share experiences in cyberspace. Furthermore, at the present, social media is already becoming a part of the organizational culture in work place. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the culture of social media and knowledge transfer, the culture of social media and work performance, also of the knowledge transfer and work performance. The research samples consisted of 300 employees in the city of Medan and the data research collection used questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used partial least square. The result of the study indicates that there are significant and positive relationship between the culture of social media and knowledge transfer, the culture of social media and work performance, and the knowledge transfer and work performance

One way for small business people who still want to use the internet and websites for their business is to use a web-blog that is free of cost, easy to design and use, and can be developed creatively.
