This Research aim at finding nouns related to water in Balinese langage, particulary lexicon that belong to entity of human, flora, and fauna. Lexicon with noun category are analyzed using Natural Semantics Metalanguage (NSM). The data in form of oral speech spoken by native speaker of Balinese were collected from two regency, Buleleng and Klungkung. The method used to collect data is the observing method and skill method. Data analyzed by identity and distributional method. The result of data analysis is presented by using formal and informal method. The result shows that the semantic structure of noun related to water portray various structure. There are 13 nouns related to the water from three entity of human, flora, and fauna, i.e peluh, enceh, téngés, yéh cunguh, poos, tétéh, yéh mata, yéh nyonyo and banyeh. these nouns are compared to semantic prime of SOMETHING-THING which has polysemy meaning with semantic prime of PEOPLE. These nouns affect their entities positively and negatively

This is the final version. Available from Nature Research via the DOI in this record. Data availability: All data used in this review is available from publicly available and herein referenced sources. A list of included studies is provided in Supplementary Data 1. All data generated or analyzed during this study are included in this published article and its supplementary information files. Source data for the figures are available as Supplementary Data 2.BACKGROUND: Monogenic insulin resistance (IR) includes lipodystrophy and disorders of insulin signalling. We sought to assess the effects of interventions in monogenic IR, stratified by genetic aetiology. METHODS: Systematic review using PubMed, MEDLINE and Embase (1 January 1987 to 23 June 2021). Studies reporting individual-level effects of pharmacologic and/or surgical interventions in monogenic IR were eligible. Individual data were extracted and duplicates were removed. Outcomes were analysed for each gene and intervention, and in aggregate for partial, generalised and all lipodystrophy. RESULTS: 10 non-randomised experimental studies, 8 case series, and 23 case reports meet inclusion criteria, all rated as having moderate or serious risk of bias. Metreleptin use is associated with the lowering of triglycerides and haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) in all lipodystrophy (n = 111), partial (n = 71) and generalised lipodystrophy (n = 41), and in LMNA, PPARG, AGPAT2 or BSCL2 subgroups (n = 72,13,21 and 21 respectively). Body Mass Index (BMI) is lowered in partial and generalised lipodystrophy, and in LMNA or BSCL2, but not PPARG or AGPAT2 subgroups. Thiazolidinediones are associated with improved HbA1c and triglycerides in all lipodystrophy (n = 13), improved HbA1c in PPARG (n = 5), and improved triglycerides in LMNA (n = 7). In INSR-related IR, rhIGF-1, alone or with IGFBP3, is associated with improved HbA1c (n = 17). The small size or absence of other genotype-treatment combinations preclude firm conclusions. CONCLUSIONS: The evidence guiding genotype-specific treatment of monogenic IR is of low to very low quality. Metreleptin and Thiazolidinediones appear to improve metabolic markers in lipodystrophy, and rhIGF-1 appears to lower HbA1c in INSR-related IR. For other interventions, there is insufficient evidence to assess efficacy and risks in aggregated lipodystrophy or genetic subgroups.Wellcome TrustWellcome Trus

Among the three divisions of Verb, the process verb is existing between the state and the action verbs. Since the position is between both other verbs, the article is aimed at analyzing the meaning of Process Verb with Balinese data. The data was collected from two sources, the oral data is from the verification of the key-informen in two regencies in Bali, namely Gianyar and Jembrana. The written ones were collected from four Balinese short stories' collection by observation and note-taking techniques. The collected data was further analyzed by the theory of Natural Semantic Metalanguage, applying the mapping of meaning configuration and explication. The result shows that there are two types of Balinese process verbs : (i) type of happen and (ii) type of movement. Each type is further subdivided into several sections with the examples taken from the field research. From the analysis, it turns out that there are two findings significantly discussed. They are (i) the lexicon tiis ‘becoming drier and drier' consisting of two elements at once namely quality with a combination of direction, (ii) the Balinese process verb can be preceded by lexicon sayan ‘getting more or less..' in terms of giving more meaning emphazes

The parts of the body is the most common location for the activity having notion to bring represented by verbs in Balinese Language. This article aims to map the meaning of the action verbs having to bring notion, represented by ngaba and makta. The oral data was collected from key-informen residing in two regencies in Bali, namely Klungkung and Karangasem. The written data are from the newspaper called Bali Orti published from March-May 2019. The method of collecting the spoken data was interviewing the key-informen in both regencies, however the written one was by observation and note-taking. Metalanguage applied to analyze the collected data, showed that there are two features found for the meaning of the action verbs to bring, namely generic and specific. The generic feature is represented by ngaba or makta mapped by ‘someone brings something in any parts of one's body', the specific one is characterized by the special location where the action to bring happens, e.g. nyuun ‘the activity of to bring happens on one's head, negen 'bring something on one's shoulder', etc.  Almost nearly all the specific data features the one's part of body as the place of the action

This article aims at displaying the way how to map the meaning of Balinese verbs related to water. The data are oral and written forms collected by observation, interview, and taking-note. The oral language was collected from the key-informant in three villages within two regencies in Bali, namely Klungkung and Buleleng. The written data was observed from the 4 novels using the modern Balinese language. The collected data was furthermore analyzed by the Metalanguage approach which manages to map all the meaning in the form of language description. Metalanguage approach based upon entity, process, instrument, and result is able to detect the subtle meaning difference among the verbs having a similar semantic field. From the scale of time-stability, the result shows that the mapping of action verbs: anyud, ngelangi, mandus, silem, mambuh imply the time reference change rapidly. The mapping of process verbs: aad, tiis, éncéh, and beku carry the time reference is less stable. The mapping of state verbs: bedak, belus, and tuduh is considered to imply the time reference is very stable
