    Mekanisme/Model Penguatan Komposit Bermatrik Logam dengan Berpenguat Partikel

    Penggunaan partikel sebagai bahan penguat dari komposit logam memiliki keunggulan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan dan modulus dari komposit. Pengaruh dari mekanisme penguatan disebabkan oleh adanya penguat partikel pada sifat mekanik dari komposit. Mekanisme penguatan pada komposit didiskusikan menjadi: model penguatan pada level macro adalah law of mixtures, dan pada model penguatan level nano yaitu penguatan dislokasi. Pada model penguatan level nano yang berbasis penguatan dislokasi terbagi menjadi model Orowan, model forest hardening, model elastic peg, dan model punching untuk menjelaskan dengan baik penguatan yang diamati pada MMC (metal matrix composites) berpenguat partikel. Regangan CTE mismatch merupakan kunci utama untuk peningkatan tegangan luluh pada komposit

    The high-income countries are leading to higher consumption of plastic, despite prominent contribution to the global problem of plastic pollution. The high quantities of plastic wastes are extremely threatening to harm the environment and inhabitants due to mismanagement such as ingested in the fish and also harmful to human health (cancer is a major disease) if such consuming a fish. This review paper explored a solution to treating plastic waste to improve the sustainability of the environment. The use of recycled plastic wastes as a component has been found to be the most beneficial as it can be used to replace all solid components

Salahsatu apalikasi nanopartikel perak yang sudah banyak di pasarkan adalah produk dengan antimikroba.     Excavated waste characteristic from Semarang City landfill sites. Part 1: physical characteristic

    Globally, Landfill is still the most common method for waste disposal. In most developing countries, the landfill has received municipal waste without going through any separation, even intermediate treatment. Landfill sites have become hidden treasure full of resources. Jatibarang Landfill in Semarang City, Indonesia has been operated since 1992 and received 800 tons of waste daily. This research investigates the characteristic of excavated waste from Jatibarang Landfill. Excavation method was used to obtain a sample from the landfill. The sample will be characterized by its composition and size distribution. Organic waste dominated the composition of waste coming to the landfill, but it was altered after decomposition process in the landfill. Most materials were decomposed and only left the inert material as a majority, undecomposable organic and plastic in the second and third place. It shows that landfill play a significant role in waste decomposition, and by that, there is a possibility to recover recyclable materials or produce solid fuel from the residue

    The transmission line of electrical energy generated by the power plant is usually located far from the load center to be distributed to the community. The substation is part of a distribution transmission line that acts as a control center and consists of a collection of extra high voltage equipment. Routine maintenance of the power transformer as the main equipment of the substation must be scheduled so that its performance remains reliable. The proposed method of this research is to analyze the condition of the transformer through testing when it is off, to the calculation of the transformer ratio to determine the condition of the transformer windings using the calculation of the formula and measurement of the Raytech Transformer Turn Ration measuring instrument. In this research, the Raytech Transformer Turn Ratio measurement tool is used to determine the ratio of the winding input voltage of 20,000 volts and the output voltage of 400 volts on the power transformer. At a voltage of 40VAC, from the results of the comparisons that have been made, it can be seen that the test results of the Raytech Transformer Turn Ratio measuring instrument, if it crosses the 0.5% tolerance limit, the measurement results on one of the coils change the ratio. If the transformer is not regularly checked, the impact will result in unbalance of voltage on one of the coils. And one of the coils in phase will expand and cause a loss of voltage
