    Sukarno Ahmad Husein, the influence of education and training, promotion for new positions and employee relocations in relation to employees’ work satisfaction and performance in the Secretary Office of Ternate and Tidore, Province of North Maluku (advised by promotor Budiyanto and co-promotor Slamet Riyadi). This research is aimed to experiment a test and analysis of the influence of education and training, promotion for new positions, and employee relocations in relation to employees’ satisfaction through work performances. This research used primary data through surveys on around 478 employees in the Secretary Office of Ternate and Tidore in North Maluku. The sample researched was as many as 220 respondents consisting of 143 employees from Ternate and the other 77 staffs from Tidore. The data analysis used the causality analysis of Strutural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result of this research showed that education & training and employee relocations both significantly influenced the employees’ work performance, meanwhile promotions for new positions does not cause any influence on the employees’ work performance. Education and training, promotion for new positions, and employee relocations, all significantly effect the employees’ satisfaction, and employees’ work performance does influence their satisfaction

    The Influence of Women Education Level Toward Community Scientific Literacy Improvement in Seberang Kota Jambi

    In the 70s, the Education level of women in Seberang Kota Jambi City were relatively low. Women tended to study only the religious education and did not consider general education as an important subject. This tendency resulted in the low science literacy of women in the community. Recently, the education level of a number of women in this community has improved significantly. This study seeks to describe the effect of the improved education level of several women on scientific literacy of the other women in the society. This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach (mixed method). The information is obtained using interviews to 150 women in the community. It was found that the level education of some women has significantly improved the community scientific literacy. Some factors that may contribute to this improvement are: 1). Confidence factors (Religion), 2) economic progress factors, 3) factors of infrastructure development and 4) information factors. As for science literacy, it is generally dominated by literacy levels at the "moderate" level of 43%, "low" level of 35% and subsequently "high" level of 22%. Based on the literacy tests in the community, it was shown that 58% were in Functional Literacy, 38% in Civic literacy, and 6% in the Cultural Literacy group

    The Role of Science Literacy Based Ta'lim Andragogy as an Alternative Media in Strengthening Covid-19 Awareness: A Review

    At the end of December 2019, a virus, currently known as the novel coronavirus-2019 or 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), has emerged with a relatively fast spread rate. Each individual is obliged to participate in the process of preventing the disease from spreading. Additionally, any elements of society should have positive contributions in preventing the spread of this disease, including the non-formal religious education. In this study, the role of Ta'lim andragogy, a non-formal teaching-learning process for adults adopted teacher centered learning, in preventing the spread of coronavirus is investigated. Thus, the focus of this research is to exercise how the concept of ta’lim andragogy based on Science and Al-Quran Literacy can be implemented in strengthening awareness on covid-19. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through literature review. The data used in this research were mainly originated from text, both in the form of manuscript text (books, magazines, journals, newspapers, etc.) or digital text. Theoretically, ta'lim has a potential as an alternative method in increasing this covid-19 awareness. For this reason, andragogy ta'lim must be modified in such a way, such as by integration with the values coming from the Qur'an, hence creating a new model of ta'lim based on Qur'anic literacy and scientific literacy
