    Spodoptera litura is main pest destroyer leaves of soybean leaves. As an alternative replacement of synthetic insecticides is bioinsecticides by utility basic ingredients from plant that are easy find such as Piper aduncum L.. The purpose of the research is to find out of a better surfactants concentration which can enhance the effectiveness of Piper aduncum L. extract below 10% which is the concentration 75 g/l of water to control S. litura of soybean. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Pests, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau from March to May 2016. The Research was conducted experimentally by using completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 4 treatments, where each treatments was replicated 4 times to obtain 16 experimental units. The treatments used in the research were 0 %, 0.025%, 0.037% and 0.050% concentration of surfactants given as the extract of Piper aduncum L. concentration of 75 g/l water. The result showed the addition of several concentrations of surfactants hasn't been able to increase the effectiveness of the concentration of ekstract Piper aduncum L. under 10% that is concentration of 75 g/l water as bioinsecticides in controlling the S. litura. But the addition of surfactants on the concentration of 0.05% (recommended dose) can increase the death of S. litura as big as to 7.5%

    The Compliance of Ship's Crew Toward International Convention Implementation for Controlling of Ballast Water and Sediment from Ships In Offshore Port of Taboneo

    This study aims to analyze the level of compliance of the ship’s crew toward The BWM Convention. (Ballast Water Management Convetion). This research is kind of qualitative using a research design that relates the independent variables and the dependent variable at the same time. The study was conducted in the Offshore Port of Taboneo with a total sample of 54 respondents. The research data is primary data from interview by using questioner and secondary data obtained from interview and literature study. The results showed that the Compliance of the crew on the ship that has been equipped with Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) is 66.67 % of respondents fall into the category approach to obedient and 33.33 % of respondents approach to non-obedient category. So also the compliance of crew on board ship that has not been equipped with BWTS there are as many as 60.61 % of respondents fall into the category approach to obedient and 39.39 % of respondents approach to non-obedient category

    Teknologi Pembenihan Ikan Papuyu (Anabas Testudineus Bloch) Semi Buatan Untuk Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan “Setia Kawan” Desa Beringin Kalimantan Selatan

    Ikan papuyu (Anabas testudineus Bloch) merupakan ikan ekonomis penting di wilayah Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan.  Saat ini budidaya ikan papuyu belum banyak berkembang, di mana salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pasokan benih. Pada kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan diseminasi atau alih teknologi pembenihan ikan papuyu semi buatan untuk kelompok pembudidaya ikan “Setia Kawan” Desa Beringin, Kabupaten Barito Kuala Kalimantan Selatan. Waktu pelaksanaan bulan Agustus s.d. November 2019.   Metode desiminasi adalah dengan ceramah, FGD dan demonstrasi.  Hasil kegiatan secara teknis didapat daya tetas telur = 89,5% dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih 39,45%.  Hasil analisa usaha didapat B/C ratio = 1,72, ROI = 0,93 dan EPM = 107,2%.  Kemudian hasil uji kesamaan rata-rata dan uji dua pihak didapat hasil tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan terhadap khalayak sasaran meningkat setelah dilakukan alih teknologi.  &nbsp
