    An efficient pseudo chaotic number generator based on coupling and multiplexing techniques

    International audienceCryptosystems require a very good and secure source ofrandomness for their security. Such a source is extremely difficultto obtain in practice. Hence, developing a secure pseudo-randomnumber generator reveals necessary. In this paper, we propose anew pseudo chaotic number generator. The proposed structureintegrates three discrete chaotic maps: PWLCM, Skewtent andLogistic, which are weakly coupled and implemented with finiteprecision N=32 bits. It also includes a chaotic multiplexingtechnique. The experiment results and statistical analysis provethe robustness of the proposed generator as well as its efficiencyin terms of computation time in comparison with know chaoticgenerators of the literature. Based on the previous structure, arandom number generator that uses Linux generator has beendesigned : "/dev/urandom"
