The aim was to present the methodological steps for developing a scoping review aimed at mapping studies on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of healthcare residents. This is a scoping review protocol, developed in accordance with the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute Manual and registered with the Open Science Framework. For the bibliographic survey, the following databases will be used: PubMed via MEDLINE, Web of Science, SciVerse Scopus (Elsevier), Embase, PsycINFO, LILACS via BVS, and Google Scholar. The selection process and presentation of the results will follow the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Based on the results found in the studies included in this protocol, the aim is to evaluate what has been produced on the impacts of COVID-19 on the mental health of healthcare residents, both in the academic environment and for discussion of public policies that make up the mental health area, with the expectation of developing a Scoping Review, making it possible to map studies, identify gaps and propose new work on the subject in question

    No full text
Background: Cleft lip and/or palate is a congenital malformation affecting the lip and palate, requiring long-term treatment due to potential associated complications. For this reason, it is important for the patient to be continuously monitored and followed for health promotion and prevention, as well as improving the quality of life. The aim of this scope review protocol is, therefore, to identify and map the available evidence regarding the application of digital resources and technologies in monitoring and following up patients with clefts. Method: This scope review protocol follows the guidelines recommended by the Joanna Briggs Institute Manual, employing the PCC acronym (Patient/Concept/Context) and is based on the PRISMA-ScR methodology for guidance and execution. Data will be collected from PubMed, Wos, Scopus, Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS), ScienceDirect, as well as grey literature indexed in ProQuest Open Access Dissertations & Theses and Google Scholar. It is important to note that this protocol is registered on the Open Science Framework. Discussion: The results stemming from the final review of this protocol have the potential to consolidate the key evidence related to this topic. This overview can clarify which tools can be applied in monitoring and following up cleft patients, as well as the impact of these approaches on the patients' quality of life and health
